Inspired by the everyday pants worn by gauchos in Patagonia, our 40th anniversary Bombachas have adjustable buttons at the ankle for protection during rides through the calafate, while working on high beams or bicycling.
Our original Bombachas crossed the easy, balloonish volume of Japanese ironworker's pants with the ingenious adaptability of gaucho pants, whose three-button cuffs allowed you to “tighten down the bottom while riding through the calafate, working on high beams or bicycling." Our redesigned Bombachas for winter use come in a nicely heathered recycled wool. They may be worn as old-school cross-country ski pants or in the cabin while you prepare a cup of yerba mate. Wide waistband and belt loops and flat front add functional style. Inseam (size 32) is 31".
