A technical climbing and trekking pant, made of lightweight stretch-nylon fabric, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 40-UPF sun protection.

For slickrock canyons, high alpine landscapes or vertical granite walls, these are our most versatile trekking, climbing and all-around travel pants. They feature a resilient, stretchy blend of 95% nylon (60% recycled) and 5% spandex that feels lightweight against the skin, resists abrasion and provides 40-UPF sun protection. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds water. The waist has a zip fly, a low-profile snap closure, offset belt loops and stretch-elastic side panels for a personalized fit. A gusseted crotch and articulated knees allow you to move freely. Mesh-lined front pockets increase airflow; zippered security pockets on each thigh keep your topos and energy bars within reach. Inseam (size 32) is 32".

Recycled Nylon

Although we’ve been using recycled polyester in our garments for 20 years, for some reason locked deep in polymer chemistry, nylon is more difficult to recycle than polyester. After years of research, development, and testing, we’re finally finding some recycled nylon fibers that are suitable for apparel.

Some of the recycled nylon we use comes from post-industrial waste fiber, yarn collected from a spinning factory, and waste from the weaving mills that can be processed into reusable nylon fiber.

We’re diligently searching for a success story with recycled nylon. The challenge lies ahead of us, and we’re committed to discovering the best methods to recycle nylon fiber, but it appears this evolution will take many years.
