
Through her passion for trailrunning, Krissy has had the opportunity to travel and experience the world. She first discovered the trails after studying abroad in Ecuador 11 years ago. She credits the support of her family, the trail running community, her rich life experiences and the open spaces of high alpine terrain for inspiring her to keep moving forward.

Thomas fills his days with journeys to remote regions of the globe, competing in ultra-marathons and setting courses for endurance races throughout the world. In his role as a freelance writer, he inspires others with his blog and his contributions to numerous German running magazines. He’s currently competing in several ultra trails, multi-stage events and his personal highlight, the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc.

Born in the mountain town of Modane, France, Pierre’s passion is running through rocky highlands, below snowy peaks, and across alpine meadows. He’s naturally adept at long distances, but to optimize his training, he also incorporates road runs and speed workouts. Pierre lives in Gaillard, France and when he’s not trail running he works as a mountain guide, sharing his passion with others.

Hiroki kicked a soccer ball for 15 years hoping to become a professional soccer player. He replaced that dream with another when he discovered adventure racing. Since then he’s lived as an athlete. Hiroki finds “pure joy” in trail running and he works tirelessly to promote the sport in Japan. He’s completed numerous 50 to 100 mile races, including the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning.

Though known as a trail ultrarunner, Jenn likes to take the sense of adventure she draws from ultrarunning and apply it to all running — from big mountains to road races. She loves to push her body, finding beauty in the experience of picking up the pace. She currently lives in a poorly insulated house with piles of old running shoes.

Chloë won her first race, a snowshoeing competition, in first grade. She continued competing in cross-country and track throughout high school. In her early twenties, after moving to the Canadian Rockies and discovering Ski Mountaineering, she started pursuing endurance events around the world. Today she competes in mountain running and mountain biking and operates the X-Training School. In her free time she skis fresh powder.

Although best known for her trail running accomplishments, Gitti has a long history of qualifications. After quitting her job as a financial advisor, she studies now at University to earn her teaching degree for secondary education. Beyond that she works as a ropes course instructor, skiing instructor or assistant teacher. Gitti, short for Brigitte, spends her time cycling, mountaineering, climbing, ski touring and of course, trail running where she’s placed first and second in numerous ultramarathons.
