Honoring tradition.

Our new Limited Edition Pataloha Shirt and Dress feature an original print in honor of the Polynesian Voyaging Society, the Mālama Honua voyage and the return of Hōkūleʻa to Hawai'i.

For the last four years, the crew of this traditional double-hulled sailing canoe have been circumnavigating the globe using traditional Polynesian wayfinding techniques. Along the way, they're sharing a teaching that has always guided Hawaiian culture: “The natural world is a gift with limits, and we must carefully steward this gift if we are to survive.”

Pataloha® Shirt

This season's limited edition print features an original depiction of Hōkūleʻa at sea. Relaxed enough for all-day wear but dignified enough for family gatherings on the lanai, we've updated the Limited Edition Pataloha Shirt with an airy 60% hemp/35% recycled polyester/5% TENCEL® lyocell blend. The print is finely matched at the pocket and placket, and a dobby stripe across the weft creates vintage effect.

We make our Limited Edition Pataloha Dress from lightweight TENCEL® lyocell, with a soft and natural drape for simple comfort in warm summer weather. Delicate spaghetti straps, racerback styling and a straight silhouette make it easy to wear over a swimsuit or on its own. Two side seam pockets hold small essentials; the hemline falls just above the knee.
