Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Baby Micro D® Snap-T® Jacket is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great except for white pocket. The fleece is soft and my daughter loves purple. I just wish the pocket and the edges of the sleeves were a dark color. I have to frequently scrub the white parts because they get so dingy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everything you expect from Patagonia! We have started buying more and more Patagonia items for our children as they're durable, well made, clean easily and still look new when they're handed down. This fleece is everything one expects from Patagonia and is great for Spring/Fall weather here in Minnesota! I realize there are different color options so we could have chosen differently, but the purple/turquoise has WHITE wrist bands. Major flaw from the design department on a KID'S jacket. We've had this for approximately a month, it's been washed 3-4 times and they're already turning grey from doing what kids do. If it weren't for that, I would give this jacket 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hoodie My 2 yr old loves it and I do too. Only issue is that I wish the lighter color was on top and darker on the bottom so that every bit of dirt wouldn't show as easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute jacket but super thin Really cute jacket, the colors are awesome BUT its so thin and my son complains that he is cold. The coat is a little too small as well. I bought a 5t and it fits my son snug. (I went a size up, he really is a 4t)
