Rugged and highly weather-resistant, this bag will protect your equipment from spitting camels and all other forms of insult. Access its main compartment through a zippered U-shaped lid, which has a pair of zippered mesh pockets on the underside for small items. A zippered exterior pocket holds the stuff you need to get to quickly. The padded bottom panel adds structure and helps cushion the load when your duffel gets the baggage-handler treatment. Carrying options include padded removable shoulder straps, webbing handles with a snap closure and haul loops at either end that facilitate linking multiple bags. Four daisy chains let you lash additional gear to the outside. Made from 15-oz 900-denier polyester ripstop (50% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Black Hole® Duffel 120L is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great duffle bag! I love this duffle bag. I had it for a couple of months in different temperature range (-35°C to 35°C) and I must say I'm impressed with the fabric. It doesn't get hard at cold temperature and it keeps its smoothness. Traveling around for work and my personal leisure, I tought at first that the fabric seemed a little fragile, but the bag still holds on, even after being tossed around! The shoulder strap system is really nice. You can remove them fast when checking your bagage at the airport. Overall the bag is rugged and well designed. So far, I love this bag and bring it to travel my gear for my different contracts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect gear bag! Fits a ton of gear and will keep everything clean and dust-free. Super-easy to hose off and dry out after some play in the dirt. It's a real sturdy item and I can't wait to take it on the next adventure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please make an XXL! This bag has been all over the planet with me, literally; Papua New Guinea, Oman & the Marquesas Islands. The killer feature is the light weight married with extremely strong construction. I use this bag for hauling heavy fishing gear on trips to remote destinations. It has survived numerous multi-leg flights and spent months in a saltwater environment with absolutely no ill effects showing up. Very happy that Patagonia make a bag that is way lighter than the competition yet still gives me complete confidence in its strength, security and durability. One (minor) criticism: The side pocket should be designed as lockable to prevent stuff being planted. Although the daisy chain can be used to do this with a zip tie as a rough and ready fix. One request: Please make an XXL version!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Takes Abuse and Cleans up The 120L swallowed all the gear for a 2-week trek in Jasper NP without a problem. Tough fabric that withstood very questionable airport handling and while it came out scuffed up and covered in various unknown substances, not a single rip, all seams, solid, and the gear inside was unscathed. Even after taking de-greaser to clean the bag, it cleaned almost as good as new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Biiiiiig It has everything I need, from handles everywhere to internal pockets that are big enough to put shoes or loads of dirty wet clothes, or daisy chains to set up small bags or walking sticks. Colors are great. It's just a pretty chunk of a bag. I used to be very pro Salomon and The North Face when it came to big solid baggages but now I'm convinced Patagonia can handle the job as well, if not better. I just love this big fat piece of equipment. Last but not least: you can stash it all in its own pocket. How cool is that!?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for traveling! I bought one of these awhile ago, I've used it to go car camping and for several work trips. Plenty big enough to fit all my stuff, even if I pack disorganized and sloppily. So far seems very durable, the airports haven't been beating it up noticeably. Speaking of airports, it's very easy to pack this bag too heavy, so be careful of that. Also, if you need an extra bag while traveling, this duffle packs into its own side pocket and is quite small, considering its overall size. It will arrive in this configuration if you order from patagonia directly. The shoulder straps are comfortable when worn as a backpack, I've carried about 55lbs in it with no discomfort. I like how the straps are on the top of the bag instead of the bottom, so if you've sat it down in some mud or something you won't get it all over your back, if you carry the duffel as a backpack afterwards. I guess my only suggestion is to make these duffles in a larger size, maybe 130 or 140L, if possible. I would be one of the first to buy it. This bag is huge, but sometimes for work I need even more space for larger items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Land, Sea, and Air I've taken my black hole in the back of my pick up, on a boat and it's rugged enough to be handled by a baggage person. I've used it to move ice, fire wood and a ton of gear. This thing will endure. If you use it for what it is for you will have no complaints. Some people use patagonia products for other than its intended use and complain. If you complain about this bag your doing something wrong.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Patagonia bag Bag is plenty big but lacks a bit of structure. It's a little floppy. Also having even the tiniest little wheels for pulling would be great.
