Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional yet stylish jacket for my daughter My daughter is 12yr. She's 4' 8" and I got her a large. It's slightly loose fitting on her at the moment, but she will likely grow into it next year. Jacket is lightweight yet very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect length & warmth! I just bought this coat today & I'm in love already! I'm a tiny adult (4'11 - 105lbs for reference) and I got size XL. It fits well, the length is perfect on me & provides me with warmth for cold NYC winds! The black color goes with everything I own.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for its Purpose I would really like the fitted, long coat style to return. It was a perfect "dress up" coat for winters in Chicago - such as going to the symphony or out to dinner. While this length coat has it's own purpose as a daily play and travel coat, please bring back the long coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My 9 year old loves this warm and lovely jacket!! My little girl loved the jacket from the moment it arrived! Great must have for cold northeastern winter days and nights. Lovely color and soft feel. Great pockets!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Children's winter coat Great fit and warmth for kids who do not like to wear sweaters or scarves

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great quality The coat is a perfect length. My girl loves that it covers her bum so she doesn't have to sit down on anything wet or cold. I like the detachable hood so you have an option. The only thing I do not like is the Velcro closures. Velcro is awful and sticks to everything. I think button closures over the zipper would have been better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tough and warm Fully geared out for Michigan winter. Keeps us outside playing longer. Great sleeve inserts keep gloves in place. Shows dirt but cleans up well. Long enough to cover the tush but not long enough to impede monkey bar performance, and keeps the neck warm. Only complaints: the zipper stuck a few times as the jacket was breaking in, and the velcro that closes the front placket over the zipper is gross for a kid's coat. There's already all kinds of junk stuck in there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't love it more! I am a tiny adult. (4'9) and 95lbs. I just bought this parka yesterday and I absolutely love it!! Bought a kids size large and it fits like a dream. Super warm and very practical in black. Keep up the good work Patagonia!
