The Hi-Loft Down Sweater Bunting takes the cranky out of cold-weather crawling, protecting budding alpine explorers with a lightweight, windproof shell fabric that has high tear-strength and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The Traceable Down (600-fill-power duck down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) is compressible and warm; quilt-through construction keeps down in place. Fleece-lined, 3-panel hood retains heat. Two durable, full-length zippers with internal wind flaps allow for easy on/off. Spandex binding at hood, sleeve and foot openings for a secure fit; fold-over mitt and foot seals out cold. Generous length helps keep extremities protected whether your little one is crawling, standing or sitting. Hand-me-down ID label.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Traceable Down Insulation

All Patagonia virgin down is certified to the Advanced Global Traceable Down standard by NSF International. The Advanced certification level means our down suppliers conducted audits all the way back to the parent farms to ensure there was no live-plucking and that broader humane animal welfare standards were faithfully observed throughout the supply chain. Infant Hi-Loft Down Sweater Bunting is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Frustrating sizing This is adorable and looks super well-made and cozy... I just cannot get the sizing right for my 9-month old girl who is in the 80th percentile for weight/ and 99th for height.... knowing it ran big, I still bought the 6-12 month bunting b/c it's expensive... I hated to buy something too small (or on the edge of small). The bunting was HUGE (like ridiculously big). Returned for a 3-6 month size and it barely fits - no room to spare. I guess we are between sizes? Returning my second one..... Now trying 2 other brands. Bummer. Baby is about 20 lbs and quite long/tall..... Love all my other Patagonia baby stuff... find it mostly does run on the bigger side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Product We bought a 6-12 month for our daughter and we were excited to be able to use it from when she was 9-months to two years. With the mittens and boots that flip over this kept our daughter warm and was well worth the money. My only complaint is that for a company that encourages re-use I would love to see gender neutral colours and patterns. I feel sorry for my next child if its a boy because he is gunna have a hot pink snow suit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Product- Sizing runs extremely large I bought the 6-12 month for my 7 month old who is in the 90% percentile in height and there is no way it would fit her for at least another year, so I had to downsize to the 3-6 month. I have found all Patagonia baby clothes run very large.
