Rated 5 out of 5 by livingtheroad from Great all around sock Lightweight and durable. I've started using these socks for everyday shoes as well as the typical hiking boot. They are just lightweight enough to not overheat in and have enough protection while in the boot. I wear a 10 1/2 and they fit true to size.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cheeky Monkey from Bad size guidelines Great socks but had to return. I used the size guide and purchased a medium for my size 8.5 women feet. The socks were way too big so I returned them. I did not purchase the size small when I returned the medium because I would have had to pay for return shipping plus the shipping for the new pair. Patagonia needs to update the sizing guidance!

Rated 3 out of 5 by the_eaze from Normal Colors Please!! These are great socks. Really comfortable and actually stay up on my legs. When these were introduced several years ago they actually had normal colors and I was able to wear them to work. Now Patagonia likes to make teal, purple, and lime green socks that I am really not sure who is wearing these colors. Please just make some navy and chocolate brown without the Patagonia logo all over them! Other than the colors these socks are great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by just noodling from Nice looking, but poor fit and performance for me. I bought three pairs in September and the fit for me has not been very good. I have a bony, medium to narrow volume foot that rarely sweats and these socks both swim on me and actually cause me to perspire. I have washed and dried them all several times, but the fit is still unsatisfactory and the heels are even starting to pill & wear. I usually wear Smartwool and Darntough socks, so think I will stay with these brands in the future. Patagonia does many things well, but I think their socks are not on par with other companies that specialize in just socks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wadsk1 from These socks rock! I only wear Patagonia socks because of the smooth toe seam. The weight of the sock is perfect for daily wear. The socks hold their shape and stay up all day long!

Rated 4 out of 5 by emilee from Still comfy These socks are my favorite. Nice colours, good build-it's a quality merino wool sock. It's more so the size chart that one should think twice about. I'm generally a size 8.5-9.0 in shoes, so I chose the Medium size as that is what the chart suggested. Except, the socks are too big for my feet. They don't hug the feet well, and my feet are almost slipping in the sock. I think a lot of things play into the right size for socks. My feet are long but they're not wide. I'd purchase these again, but for sure the Small size. For those of you who don't have wide feet and are in the Medium size range, I'd suggest a Small.
