Conditions change at Mount Baker faster than the locals steal the best powder lines. Capitalize on whatever comes your way with the 3-in-1 Snowshot. You can wear this versatile jacket as a waterproof/breathable shell, as lightweight insulation on a bluebird day or by combining the shell and insulation as a warm combo for cold-weather riding. The durable H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer 100% polyester shell has a waterproof/breathable barrier for storm protection and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to slough off moisture and wet snow. A tricot mesh lining inside manages your internal moisture, adds warmth and glides smoothly over layers. The quilted, zip-out liner is warm yet lightweight, compressible and insulated with 60-g Thermogreen® that continues to insulate even when wet and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish; it reverses from a smooth to a quilted face fabric to match your mood. Finer details include a removable, helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood with a laminated visor; pit zips; a tall collar to protect your neck and face from wind and snow; an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector; and an adjustable, fully featured powder skirt.
  • Durable H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer polyester micro-twill weave shell with waterproof/breathable protection; slick mesh lining keeps you warm and wicks away moisture
  • Versatile zip-out jacket can be reversed from a smooth to quilted face fabric and uses lightweight 60-g Thermogreen® insulation for warmth with less bulk
  • Removable, helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood with visor for optimal visibility in bad conditions; tall collar protects neck and face even with hood down
  • Pit zips quickly release heat; low-profile cuff secures over or under gloves
  • Powder skirt with webbing loop at center back connects to any Patagonia® Snow pants
  • H2No® Performance Standard shell: 2-layer, 5-oz 75-denier 100% polyester (54% recycled) micro-twill. Weatherproof

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Designed for a wide range of uses, from backpacking to snowboarding, 2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics utilize a taffeta or mesh lining rather than a bonded scrim to protect the waterproof/breathable barrier. The lining increases the garments wicking ability, durability and next-to-skin comfort.

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are coated with DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish that repels light rain and snow. In conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

All products bearing the H2No mark have been vigorously tested for durability in our Killer Wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Water Resistant Bought this a month ago, and it has been excellent. My first Patagonia jacket purchase, and I'm very satisfied with my decision. Wore the jacket in heavy rain a couple of weeks ago, and didn't feel a thing. Dry as a desert inside the jacket. Both the inner and outer jackets are high quality, and fit me well, though the jacket runs a bit large. I bought an XS and it's still slightly large, but my wife is really hoping that I'll gain weight someday soon so my jacket leaves room for hope.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile I have used this 3 in 1 jacket for the majority of this season and it has done a good job so far. My only issue is that the zipper does catch on the fabric towards the top right by your neck/chin. Other than that, being able to zip out the liner and use that as an optional jacket is great. The shell blocks the wind and has held up to some wet conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around great jacket I've been completely satisfied and amazed by the quality of this jacket. It really is like having 3 great options that work well depending on the weather. The sturdiness of every aspect of it makes me confident out on the trail and the classic look provides a great option for a night out on the town. It definitely runs large, so keep that in mind when picking a size. The Patagonia staff was incredibly helpful and understanding when I had to send back a large for a medium, so that was very much appreciated. I couldn't be happier with this jacket and Patagonia as a company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ski jacket I have owned This jacket is amazing! I wear it skiing every day during the winter and only wear a base layer and t-shirt underneath. If you split up the shell and linear it they make for a great rain jacket and casual coat respectively. One thing to consider is that this product does run large! I am 6'1 and only wear a medium.
