bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Odor Resistant

Polygiene® odor control permanently protects your garments from smelling like a middle school locker room. Sweat itself is odorless, but it creates the conditions that bacteria need to multiply, and some of those bacteria produce odors. Polygiene permanent odor control stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, so you can wear more and wash less.

Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene permanent odor control does not interfere with perspiration or with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Polygiene particles are more than 100 times larger than nanoparticles and therefore are too large to penetrate to the skin’s barrier. Polygiene-treated fabrics have received Medical Class 1 approval in Europe, the same class that includes bandages.

Men's All Weather Zip-Neck is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit and comfort, really deep zipper As a bigger guy, I appreciate tech fabric clothing that isn't clingy. This fits the bill very well. Worked well both on the trail and as a casual layer. Only complaint is that the zipper is DEEP into the chest. I'm sure this is helpful to someone, but as a style feature, it's a little distracting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great breathability This is a great shirt for running trail running. I love the mesh back and underarms which makes it breathe very well. I prefer the hoodless version for running so the hood isn't flopping around. That being said, bring back the hoody Patagonia!!! It's the best spring skiing base piece I've found. Good sun protection, breathable, not too hot or cold as a base layer, and the hood provides good additional warmth or sun protection when needed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice piece to add to my collection but runs big. This runs big for a slim fit shirt comparing it to other Patagonia shirts I own. Purchased a size xl but wish I had ordered a size large. I wish the sizing could be consistent for us buying on line. The sleeves are very long and it has a loose fit. I'm 6'5" and 195 pounds and it hangs on me. Would prefer the slim fit as advertised. Otherwise a nice shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Piece of Kit for the Pacific N'west Runner Am 5"10" 195 and it fits me like a Patagonia regular fit aka perfectly. Not too tight, excellent sleeve length and the built-in mitts are unobtrusive and well designed. Perfect with a lightweight Capilene T for Oregon running in the rain. Like it so much I ordered another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All weather, all the time I have this in the hooded version from last year. This is my absolute go to piece. I usually use it as a base layer and man is it versatile. The back mesh panel vents perfectly and dries out super fast after wearing a pack. The deep chest zip allows great ventilation as well. The hood (not on this one) and hand warmers allow you to zip up when the temps drop. I wore this during a 7 day ascent of Mescalito on El Cap when it was really hot. It breathed and protected me from the sun. I wear this pretty much all winter running in NM in temps from about 75F down to about 40F or so. I wear this under layers climbing in the shoulder seasons as well. I pretty much always find myself looking for this piece first when I am headed out on an adventure. I wish I had several more, although mine has held up super well. Additionally, I really hope you guys bring back the hooded version because the hood really adds to the versatility.
