Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Men's Fitz Roy Emblem Polo is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality! My husband loves this shirt. The color is more of a blue than a purple, and he wears it to work on casual days, as well as when we head out for the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs really big! I usually wear a small if they run big but I could've got an extra small in this one. Besides that great quality and vivid colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shirt! Bought about a month ago and have worn and washed it a few times. Still looks and feels great. I'm 6'1" and weigh about 225 and the large was perfect for me. Roomy, but not too roomy. I personally love the emblem and am not sure why others don't like it. I'm not a big fan of companies plastering their name all over material. I'm bummed that it looks as if Patagonia is going back to the old "Patagonia" embroidery. If the quality stays the same I would still buy even the embroidery says Patagonia instead of the Fitz Roy emblem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs baggy I'm in a strange in-between size with Patagonia casual shirts. Large is generally too baggy, and medium fits my body but is generally too short in the sleeves. This is the case with this shirt unfortunately as well. I bought the large and wish I had gotten a medium. Everything about the fabric and quality is great though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shirt! Great shirt, great fit, and a great deal. Has a good weight to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classic Polo is Almost Great Much as I am proud to wear the Patagonia logo I did NOT like the jacket style sewn on rectangular logo on the shirts for a couple of years. I liked the old embossed "patagonia" logo the best. But this circular one is a reasonable compromise. The fit is the same as the long time fit. Only other issue is two button instead of three. Give me three. I will start to slowly rebuild my Patagonia logo inventory. Give me three buttons and the old embossed "patagonia" logo shirt which as A+. Then C+ and now back to B+/A-.
