Lightweight and insulated, this warm, water-resistant jacket has a durable, 50-denier 100% recycled polyester taffeta shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to block moisture, and a warm, compressible layer of 40-g Thermogreen® polyester insulation (92% recycled) that warms the body, blocks wind and dries quickly. It has a stand-up collar to protect your neck from wind and cold, and a stowaway hood. A back vent increases breathability, and reflective detailing on the front zipper and hood provide added visibility for dawn and dusk sojourns. The hem is bound with elastic and adjusts with a drawcord; the cuffs are similarly bound to seal out weather. The Crankset has two side-entry pockets with zipper closures (the right pocket converts to a stuffsack) and a left-chest pocket that’s headphone compatible. Hip length.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Men's Lightweight Crankset Jacket is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Checks most of my boxes! Great modern fit, slightly tight but not annoying. Dolomite Blue is a nice change from my usual black. It is masculine but classy. The main zipper is the best YKK Vislon type- better than the small teeth type found in many jackets- yuck. Unfortunately, there is no flap behind it to prevent wind/water intrusion. Wish it had huge interior pockets and micro fleece lining in main pockets and neck/chin areas. It would be a 5* if it had these. Perhaps they can add these in the new version? Overall, a simple but very nice product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best jacket ever!!! This was my Christmas gift from my gf. It’s one of the lightest jackets I’ve ever had. True to size and you can wear it with everything, day and night. I’m thinking in buying it in another color!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile and tough After 10 months of wear in all manner of conditions, the jacket continues to impress me with how adaptive it is to my activities. The cut is roomy enough to layer for cooler weather but trim enough that on downhill decent it doesn't suck the wind. The open vents along the back dump heat well. Several good falls and a few scraps on slabs didn't rip, but I would make it a habit. Compresses small and is always in my pack. Bonus: It is a real clean looking jacket on a night out. Only ding, but not a bad one:I have long arms and found the sleeves road up when on a bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection I wanted a jacket that looked good when i was going out for a nice dinner, but also performed great when commuting. This is that jacket. It looks dressy and professional, but it works hard. The back vent definitely lets the excess heat escape and the pockets are the perfect size. In the rain, you are dry and the hood looks great. I will own this jacket for a long time to come and it will be nearly a daily wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight warmth Bought this for spring and fall chill. Fantastic jacket. I'm 6'2, 170, 40 inch chest, 34 inch sleeves, and the medium was a great fit. The sizing is consistent with other Patagonia jackets I have, like the down sweater jacket and down sweater vest. This jacket is light, soft, and has just the right amount of padding for temps in the 50s. I think it will also work for layering underneath rain shells or coats when it rains or the temps are really cold. Really like the nouvelle green, which is a grayish-green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great all around jacket This jacket is great for all my adventures, whether I'm camping, riding my bike or after I get out of the surf after a morning of fly fishing, even on casual outings, love it!
