Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Men's L/S All-Wear Shirt is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great shirt but poor fit I like the shirt - it's the perfect weight for fall weather and it's built to last. However, I had the same issue as another reviewer noted: the sizing is way off. I am 5'8" and 150-lbs. A small from Patagonia usually fits fairly well in every dimension. This shirt seems dis-proportionate. There is a lot of extra material in the chest which makes the arms long. I would go down a size, but the sleeves themselves are about the right length and the shirt tail is on the shirt side already. If you are short and stocky, this may work out great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent product The shirt is made of quality cloth with careful stitching. It is also tailored to fit well unlike so many shirts on the market today. Great buy and representative of Patagonia quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sizing is completely off I own other Patagonia shirts and coats, all in size medium, so I got this one in a medium as well. It had at least 5-6 inches around the chest and the sleeves came down past my hands. Very disappointed in the sizing, the material looks good and would have been a nice shirt to have. Will wait til next year and see if they get sizing correct.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid all conditions shirt I'm 5'7" 165lbs and the Med fits great. So well that I purchased additional colors after receiving the classy Forge Gray. There are two reasons I recommend this shirt. 1. The material is heavier than the standard Patagonia Buckshot, Fezzman or Pima shirts but is still really wrinkle resistant. For travel this is key and I just spent a week on the road in mine. 2. The timeless solid color fabrics of the All-Wear are a great alternative to the Bluffside and Fjord flannels that Patagonia offers. Nice to roll up to work after a dawn patrol and look a clean and crisp. Add to cart!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well constructed and durable I love the thickness of the material of this shirt and it's simple style. It hang dries very quickly and is relatively wrinkle free. My one hang up is that I wish it were a tad bit longer and slimmer in the body.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible fit I ordered this shirt in both medium and large and neither were close to fitting. The medium was tiny, almost the equivalent of a normal small. The large was outrageously big, I'm 5'11" 190 lbs and this looked like I needed about another 50 lbs on me before it would fit. I'm thinking about ordering it in a large one more time to see if maybe I had received a miss-sized shirt. The shirt is a nice heavyweight organic cotton and I love the look with the 2 pockets, just wished it actually fit!
