With Polygiene® permanent odor control, no tags for no itch, and a locker loop to let it dry until tomorrow. Reflective logo on the left chest keeps you visible if you play in traffic.

bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Odor Resistant

Polygiene® odor control permanently protects your garments from smelling like a middle school locker room. Sweat itself is odorless, but it creates the conditions that bacteria need to multiply, and some of those bacteria produce odors. Polygiene permanent odor control stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, so you can wear more and wash less.

Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene permanent odor control does not interfere with perspiration or with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Polygiene particles are more than 100 times larger than nanoparticles and therefore are too large to penetrate to the skin’s barrier. Polygiene-treated fabrics have received Medical Class 1 approval in Europe, the same class that includes bandages.

Men's Short-Sleeved Nine Trails Shirt is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I own 5 of these t-shirts After purchasing one of these to try out I fell in love with how it fit, how it performed, how soft it was, and how it looked on me. One of the best t-shirts I own and that's comparing it to the other brands I have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only t-shirt you'll ever need Patagonia, with this t-shirt, has found the perfect balance of softness, breathability, lightness, wicking and 'look'. As an excessively sweaty runner, I have had my fair share of running shirts turn out to be bags of unpleasant, wet, airless stink when you stop moving. The Nine Trails remains dry and amazingly light throughout. Combined with the fact that you could wear it with a pair of jeans and be totally appropriate for socializing adds to the value of the t-shirt. I cannot see a reason to own any other t-shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Summer or Workout Shirt These shirts are super soft and really don't seem to absorb sweat or odor. I wear them on hot days or when I workout and I really can't ask for more. They also make a great undershirt when the sun goes down. Love the tiny hanging loop in the collar. The fit of these shirts is a little more slim than the Daily tee, so if you're thinking casual wear I would go a size up. MORE COLORS PLEASE Patagonia! Can we see some ORANGE or PURPLE or brighter RED?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit The shirt is great, it dries fast and it's a good fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shirts rule! Bought one of these last summer and put it through the works mountain biking and running, and it still looks new. I only have one, but plan to buy a couple more this season. It's the perfect shirt for just about anything. Super comfortable and looks great too. They do fit a little slim, but not in a bad way. I'm 6'1 and 195lbs and a large fits me well. These things are totally worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Good Looking Only Patagonia could pull off making a T-shirt feel so lush while looking so nice. The seams are as smooth as the material placed in the perfect spots to avoid chaffing and still look right. The sleeves are the perfect length and not too long, nor are the too wide. I own 8 of these shirts and will likely get more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel, hiking, and camping shirt This is really an ideal shirt for those looking for something to take on longer hiking or camping trips, or just traveling in general. I'm not quite sure how they did it, but Patagonia has made a shirt out of synthetic material(polyester) that feels and behaves a lot like merino wool. Mainly, it seems to have amazing odor control properties and have a similar soft comfortable feel. I recently returned from a 10 day trip to Guatemala and wore this shirt nearly everyday(some of them hiking days) without a whole lot of odor issues(with the shirt, I didn't smell great all the time). I would admit that perhaps merino wool has a slight edge in those two departments, but being polyester this shirt has a superior ability to wick moisture, stretch, and perhaps most importantly - it has superior durability. If you are looking for a shirt that you strictly want to work out in, you may find the Capilene or other synthetic shirts with elastic fiber blends to be better, but for longer hikes, traveling, and camping or something you can wear day to day, this shirt really in my opinion can not be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great multi-purpose shirt! Bought this shirt for working out and running and found it to be a great casual wear t-shirt as well.
