Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son lives in this jacket! I purchased this in an XS for my 12 year old who is a fan of zipper hoodies - he now literally lives in this jacket and loves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from better than advertised! I've had this jacket for 2 years now and absolutely love it! It's been super durable as a day to day layer. I basically wear it every day, and it is held up great! Looks basically new. I've been using mostly for a casual around the house/ town hoody, when it's too warm for a downy or soft shell, but that being said it's also great for outdoors adventures too. Works great for layering under a goretex while skiing (single layer capilene 1 long sleeve/goretex shell and this jacket) was very comfortable while skiing in near total white out/impromptu back country days @22 F. also great around the ski lodge when we were walking around the resort while snowed in. Love the features!!! A pet piece of mine for regular hoodies is that the collar is built into the hood. This jacket is great because if I want a warm high collar but not the hood, The zipper goes all the way to mid neck and is very warm and comfortable. The tight knit fleece material is very comfortable and seems to shield wind better than the more technical Patagonia fleece fleece. Love the zippered pockets and the dual inside pockets (which are perfect for keeping my sunglasses from being scratched when I'm inside, etc). It's a good casual cragging jacket or indoor warm up jacket but I wouldn't wear outside while on routes, especially not splitter trad routes as other fleece layers are better for this/ more stretchy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Excellent fit and quality. Perfect for layering on REALLY cold days, and solo on the less challenging ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Hoody! I bought this last year, and have worn it everyday the weather is cool in East TN. It is my hands down favorite Hoody! I've also used it as an outer layer with an R1 underneath on cold / dry days. There is enough room for a comfortable fit with the layering. The large size, regular fit, is just right for me. I have have a more athletic build with broader chest, shoulders and arms. I normally consider sizing up on the slim fit, but went with the regular fit on the Tech Fleece Hoody. It was the right decision.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket for any occasion! I received this jacket as a gift from my sister. I live in San Diego, and while most people would think it's always sunny and beautiful, we occasionally have very brisk and cold weather. It can get around 40s during the winter. I get hot easily, but this jacket is absolutely perfect! I wear a t-shirt underneath and I stay warm, without getting overheated, throughout the day. I wear an XS and it does fit a little snug around the waist, but the sleeve length is perfect. It has also washed well over the years... still looks brand new! I love this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome hoody This is my new go-to hoody for cool nights. Very stylish and fits great. I'm 6'0" about 180 and it has a fitted look but not too tight. Great with a t-shirt and shorts on a cool summer evening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Runs a bit big, but comfy --FIT-- As with most things with Patagonia's "regular fit", this is a little boxy in the lower torso, and roomy in the arms and cuffs, if you're athletic. I don't really understand this; for an outdoor brand, a lot Patagonia clothing isn't cut all that well for active people. I'm 5'11" / 175, and it's good in the shoulders, length (lower hip), and arms. I expected the close-but-not-quite fit, but it still loses one star for it. --MATERIAL-- High marks here. Exterior face is smooth, feels like a very lightweight soft shell. Better against light wind than cotton, would expect a tiny bit more water resistance, but don't buy it if that's what you're after. A little more elasticity/stretch would be nice (especially coupled with a more athletic fit), but it has a bit of give. The cuffs can be pulled up and tend to stay, which is nice. A bit warmer than a lightweight cotton hoody. The collar-and-hood combo is nice. --POCKETS-- 2 zippered handwarmers, 2 drop-in. Well-sized for day-to-day use. --OVERALL-- I can't speak to durability, but overall I've had good experience with Patagonia gear in that regard. Good item overall, recommended.
