The difference between finishing a long run and bailing often rests in your ability to fall apart, then put yourself back together again. Built for the full spectrum of fast-moving pursuits, this lightweight pack holds all of your essentials close to your back without compromising easy access when you’re on the move. The top-loading main compartment carries a shell, insulation, food and your choice of hydration reservoir securely and with minimal bounce. A small, zippered stash pocket on the lid provides secure storage for small items, and stretch mesh pockets carry water flasks or a hat and gloves. This light and supple vest, made from soft airflow mesh, breathes to keep you cool and comfortable in the heat. It has a skin-friendly edge binding that feels smooth on bare skin and two stash pockets for storing gels, lip balm and your soundtrack for the day. A supple foam back panel, made from lightweight mono mesh, won’t absorb sweat and breathes so you stay comfortable and dry. Made from 3.7-oz 100-denier high-tenacity nylon ripstop with a 6.25-oz 210-denier nylon semi-dull double-ripstop base. Both fabrics have a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Two times a charm! I bought this awhile ago and returned it. I'm a 5'8" ~165lbs female and the non-adjustable straps were a no-go. But I saw how other women wear this pack and bought it again size L. Ok, I like it now. I took it for a trail run and I think it's actually more comfortable than my UD pack, but I wish it had more front strap storage. It will be perfect for my run commute because I need less in front and more in back, but for long trail runs and races, I will probably stick to my UD pack because I carry mostly food and I like that stuff quickly accessible. For my 9 mile run commute, bike rides and hikes, this pack is first pick. I like the design and it is water bladder compatible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for mountain biking I couldn't find any reviews for this for cycling so I took a gamble.. Short of it, it works great for cycling. Very comfortable, light, doesn't bounce and has really nice features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Urban gear I bought this bag specifically for Disney World. It stayed on me the entire week and was the perfect size with well designed small compartments. I've since taken it to the beach, and the water resistant fabric makes for a great day bag. Also use it fly fishing. Main storage compartment is slightly too narrow for Macbook.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfecto This pack fits incredibly for having as much room as it does. I've used it for run-commuting for about 8 miles per trip and have had no issues. Tighten it up and go. Can't wait to use it in the mountains this summer for big trail runs when you need to carry a little more gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome this thing is awesome. it's comfortable and light and perfectly designed. it's big enough for 4 liters of water, a sweater, an apple, and a map... just right for a long trail run or an all-day hike.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, quirky light pack It's a great pack for day hikes and trail running. I can comfortably fit a 1.5L (50oz) bladder, snacks, keys, and extra layers in it. I've also used it as a climbing pack and it fits my harness, a pair of shoes, and then some. The front chest pocket fits an iPhone 5 well, and the 6(s) snugly. I really like the two adjuster straps - they allow for you to fit the pack well, although the adjusting doesn't stay so you'll have to do this every time you put the pack on. My main complaint is the weird zipper opening of the bag. You need to fully open up the lip so that you can zip up and down, and you can't stuff this pack, only fill it up to the brim exactly. A puffy jacket on top won't really let you fold over the lid and you'll end up with a weirdly balanced pack. I would've much preferred the traditional cinch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked in High Peaks Good for a day hike as long as you have some sort of water filter. It fits (very tightly packed!) 100 oz water bladder, a folded up torrentshell rain coat, iPhone stuffed in the bottom, small amount food, a water filter (sawyer, so the bag rolled up), small first aid kit, map/compass. I like it, it feels light on the back and not noticeable, but maybe go with a pack in the 25L range if you want a bit more security on longer hikes. Granted this isn't really designed for or the ideal size for a longer hike (18 miles, Haystack/Basin/Saddleback Mtns).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nine trails pack I love this pack. It has the right volume for warm multi day trail running adventures. I can fit everything I need for romping around the mountains for multi day adventures in good weather. The suspension system is great once you get it fitted for your body. I wish there were a couple more pockets on the shoulder straps for things. Watch how much weight you carry in this pack. Once it gets to heavy it will not carry well and you will need more support. I feel Patagonia got it right on the volume/weight carrying. The lid is genius on how it zips closed then folds over to hold my trekking poles or any other light items.
