Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Stormfront Rolltop Boat Bag is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag for to and from, but I use it predominately for sailing and wet weather excursions. The construction of the bag is very good, but as one reviewer already said that if the bag isn't completely full and you try to use the top handle, it does come loose, or sometimes even opens completely. Additionally, my bag came with only female buckles on one side and only male buckles on the other. I had to undo the seams and resew the buckles so they actually buckled to each other, and naturally this was kind of a hassle. It does have a great capacity though. When I take it to away regattas on the weekend, I can stuff it full with all my gear, and then a lot extra. I'm very impressed with how much you can stuff in there. Overall, I think it's a great bag. It needs some improvements on the handle as well as the cross body strap, but I don't think you can go wrong purchasing a bag from the stormfront line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST dry bag EVER THE SYSTEM KEEPS TURNING MY ONE STAR INTO 5 STARS WHAT A SCAM!!! READ THIS TRUE REVIEW: Took this on a raft/kayak paddling trip down the Colorado River of the Grand Canyon for 3 weeks, along with many other dry bags that we brought. This was the WORST BAG EVER ..but I wanted to love it due to the size and ease of inserting/removing items. THe problem with this bag is it is not dry proof no matter what you do. It does not have cross straps to seal the roll ..only on the sides, it buckles open when you carry it, bends on the raft and water inevitably ALWAYS got in stuff was soaked. WHen I got back from the trip went straight back to Patagonia. Huge shame. Never buy this bag!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Close but one flaw I have a number of bags from this waterproof lineup and love the concept and flexibility. I don't hesitate to use them with expensive camera equipment and computers regardless of the water we are floating. I did have to return this particular bag because it has a design flaw that did't work for me. The handle is located on top of the roll top. When the bag is fully loaded the weight of the load pulls down on the roll causing it to loosen. The handle needs to be supported with welds on the side of the bag so no pressure is put on the roll. Other than that the design is solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boat Bag I bought the Stormfront Roll-Top bag before a one-week float trip on the Kanektok River in Bristol Bay. The bag performed well and was the perfect size for all my fly boxes, reels, plus snacks for the week and a flask of Scotch. I like the design - its flatter and wider than a pack so there's less digging for gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Utility I can easily say this is the best bag I own. When on the water, I use it to keep my jacket, change of clothes and lunch completely dry. When on calmer water, I unroll the top and the bag becomes a lot bigger with easy access to all it's contents. When not on the water, I use it as a carry on bag storing all the necessary contents for a 3 day work trip. The outside pocket is perfect for keys, wallet, iPod, etc and the inside is roomy enough for all my stuff. All in all, this is my new favorite bag.
