Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Strong Belt I've had 2 of these and they have really improved the material since the original. It's thicker than the old one and seems more robust. Great simple belt for hiking or everyday use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good non-leather belt with one issue I've only had this a couple of weeks so can't evaluate wear and tear. I like the fit and feel, but if you wear your shirts untucked and have a gut, there is an issue. The end of the belt is essentially melted to stop the nylon webbing from unraveling. That's standard practice with this kind of material--if you've ever shortened hiking or camping webbing, you probably finished by melting the ends with a match. However, if the belt fits you such that there is a couple inches of extra length and it doesn't happen to fit just under an existing belt loop, the top corner of the belt pokes you in the gut. If you tuck your shirt in, or if you have zero gut, you won't have this issue. The only way for Patagonia to avoid this would be if the end of the belt were custom-melted to be rounded instead of 90 degree angles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great belt for about 3 months... I loved this belt after I first got it, however, the big and I mean BIG down side to this belt is it will stop working as soon as the fibers in the belt material wear in and loosen up. After about 3 months the belt just wouldn't work anymore. The polyester fibers lost their integrity quick and once that happens the buckle teeth lose their grip resulting in a belt that just doesn't work anymore. If the belt had durability it would be my favorite belt of all time...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a great belt Probably the only Patagonia product that I have purchased that is head-scratchingly bad. Really difficult to get tight enough and doesn't lay flat / feels and looks bulky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Quality I was a little worried since this belt is one size fits all and I'm 6'2", 215lbs. However, it's perfect! I love the thickness and the quality of the buckle. I got the grey but just might be picking up another couple in different colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well done! I had bought the flawed version of this belt and returned it. I have since purchased the new version and it is great! Good job fixing the problem! The only thought I would add is that it would have been a good idea to email any negative reviewers that the problem had been fixed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A quality web belt and so easy to use I purchased two of these a few weeks ago and they've become my go-to-belts, mostly because the web material is strong and the belt opens and closes so easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last belt I'll ever need to buy Material is great easy to adjust and it's great for backpacking
