Rated 5 out of 5 by William Hasbrook from Favorite Sock I use these socks to wear with my Birkenstocks after a long hike or around town. I love the insulation while hiking in snowy conditions. My body is always running on the hot side, so I find these to be the perfect amount of insulation for heavy activity in snow or the cold. I also use these while riding my dual sport bike offroad in the winter. They do a great job keeping my feet warm in the boots while riding in freezing rain or driving in wet conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by South Lake Jake from Multi use sock I initially bought these socks for skiing and snowboarding. Now I use them dirt biking, on cold trail runs, on cold days here in Tahoe working outside, and pretty much whenever I go outside in the fall or winter. My body runs pretty warm so the ulw works great. I've been using them for over 4 years and have yet to get a single hole in a pair. (Knock on wood) I'm a size 10.5 or a 27.5 snow boot and the large gifts great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by lah_review from Poor quality Hole in toe after 2 weeks, wearing a handful of times. Looks like the seam came apart. Use: Around house and occasional walks outside, always in tennis shoes. It's a pair of socks, so probably too much of a hassle to drive 1.5 hour round trip to the nearest Patagonia store to get a refund or get fixed.
