Women's Active Hipster is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, good fit, functional I bought two of these underwear prior to a weeklong camping trip to south central Alaska. I've bought other synthetic blend underwear for backpacking/camping (basically any sweaty activity), and these are easily the most impressive, my favorites. They are super comfortable, stay in place, soft fine-knit fabric, and they breathe and dry quickly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not durable Most comfortable underwear I've ever worn, however, out of 5 that I purchased, the waistband stitching of 4 came out in a very short time. I'm disappointed that a product at this price point doesn't last longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for comfort, but perhaps not durable? I bought two pair for hiking the Mont Blanc trail, and I instantly fell in love. I agree with other reviewers that they are smaller than other hipster cuts--they fit more like a bikini--but I gave them a shot and am SO glad that I didn't. They are super comfortable, and they dry very quickly after a handwashimg. They really are the only underwear I ever want to wear now. The only problem is that one of them already started to unravel by the leg. And I just saw that Patagonia doesn't do repairs on underwear. Major disappointment, as I've already recommended these to people and I want more myself!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from even better Love these active undies. I use them for fishing and hot yoga. The dry well and are never heavy feeling, even when soaked. Buy them, they are the best.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waistband comes undone I'm having the same problem with these as with the Active Brief. After a year or so of light wear, the waistband sewing comes undone and the band unfolds. I have worn Patagonia briefs for decades and this only started happening to items made in the last few years.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ITCHY!!! I bought these, along with the Active Briefs, two months ago. I really liked them at first and was tempted to get rid of my old Wal-Mart underwear, I am glad I didn't. After wearing them for a while they have become itchy and uncomfortable to wear. Instead of reaching for these in the morning I am looking for my old, cotton undies. I don't know if it is the type of materials used to make them or if it is something else entirely, but either way they are very itchy. I usually love Patagonia products, but this was a thumbs down for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Sizing!! Very disappointed in the new sizing. I was so excited to order a few new pairs of underwear, and to not have to shop around or worry what to get. I looked up my favorite pair and the size I've been wearing for years. Unfortunately, now I'm stuck with underwear that is too small, and not as comfortable. Please don't change sizes on a good simple product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistant sizing Generally I like(ed) these active underpants as they do wick and are comfortable for active pursuits. They (used to) stay put. They also dry quickly and are great for travel, when you only want to take 2 pair, and wash them out nightly. I needed some new undies, and purchased 3 new pair. For some reason the fit is not the same, and they slide down. They also seem to be a bit skimpier than last years. It's hard to explain, but they don't have the same fit as what I'm accustomed to; maybe lower on the hips, and so they seem to scootch down all the time. Only one pair out of the three, feels like my older pairs and stays put. It's a little bit higher too, which I do like. I just wish the sizing and cut stayed consistent for those of us who really liked the product the way it's always been. I'm on the fence - I may be returning two pairs.
