A favorite among our alpine and snow ambassadors, the Capilene® Thermal Weight One-Piece Suit eliminates the extra seams and potential cold spots of a traditional top and bottom layering system. The micro-grid fleece interior of our Capilene® Thermal Weight provides the greatest warmth combined with the greatest breathability of any baselayer in our lineup. Soft, stretchy and compressible, Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric has a smooth face that glides beneath layers and a brushed fleece interior to warm your core, wick moisture and feel smooth against your skin. This fabric also has 30–92% recycled content and is treated with Polygiene® permanent odor control. Features include a high collar and self-fabric hood with anatomical shaping for warmth, a long center-front zipper for venting, gusseted crotch for mobility, side-zip drop-bottom, flatlock seams that minimize chafing, and offset shoulder and side seams that lie smoothly beneath pack straps.
Features
  • Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric (with Polygiene® permanent odor control) has a smooth face for easy layering; fabric’s open-grid pattern next to skin provides superior warmth, breathability and moisture-wicking performance; spandex for stretch and ease of movement
  • High collar and self-fabric hood with anatomical shaping for warmth and overlapping ponytail exit below helmet line
  • Long center-front zipper vents body heat and is backed by kissing welts for low-bulk comfort next to skin
  • Offset shoulder seams eliminate chafing under pack straps
  • Full underarm gusset for range of motion and chafe-free comfort
  • Gusseted crotch for comfort and unimpeded mobility
  • Fully closing zip drop-bottom

Odor Resistant

Polygiene® odor control permanently protects your garments from smelling like a middle school locker room. Sweat itself is odorless, but it creates the conditions that bacteria need to multiply, and some of those bacteria produce odors. Polygiene permanent odor control stops the growth of odor-causing bacteria on fabrics, so you can wear more and wash less.

Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene permanent odor control does not interfere with perspiration or with the skin’s natural bacterial flora. Polygiene particles are more than 100 times larger than nanoparticles and therefore are too large to penetrate to the skin’s barrier. Polygiene-treated fabrics have received Medical Class 1 approval in Europe, the same class that includes bandages.

Women's Cap Tw One-Piece Suit is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Designed for Women and Warm I bought this for a trip to Finland's arctic circle as a base layer. I'm 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs. I have a lean and long body with widish shoulders. I normally wear size 6. I ordered this in both S and M. The S fits my legs and body perfectly. But the shoulders are a little tight (there is some stretch, but I can feel the pull). I also have a long torso and neck, making the hood a little snug. The M is loose on the body but length is perfect with the hood on. I'm still debating which on to keep. The onesie had a double zipper run across the top of the buttocks, which allows for easy bathroom necessities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from game changer This might be my favorite piece of gear. I have worn it for days on end on multiple fall/winter camping adventures around the pacific northwest (15 - 45 degrees). It keeps me cozy warm no matter what outdoor adventure we end up on (hiking, fishing, skiing, rafting, standing around the campfire, sleeping, etc.). The mid-line zipper is critical and well-designed. A must for gals that want to stay warm AND hydrated. I also wear them regularly under work clothes during cold weather field work and the report is the same. I can't imagine life without them. In Patagonia, I am typically a S in tops and XS in bottoms, and I got the small. Its a little loose around the waist but it's more comfortable and gives a little extra slack for zipper functionality. The XS was more form-fitting, but would not have been as functional for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from zipper starting coming apart at seam almost immedi I bought this to wear under my drysuit for kayaking in cold conditions. I was really excited Patagonia started making a onesie, and with the relief zipper! But, unfortunately, the zipper started coming apart at the seam almost immediately. It seems it is just a poor design. They might have done better not putting a zipper in at all and just having a flap, as many of the kayak specific models do. So sad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect fit! Lightweight and warm, this onesie is the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm 5'10" with a long torso, 160lbs, and the M fit well with no riding up, no straining, comfortable in the crotch and the shoulders too. The zipper across the back is functional and doesnt rub. I got the 'blue' which is really a nice teal colour. The sleeves are oddly baggy at the wrist but it has thumb loops to keep it in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How About a Puffy-Uni/Uni-Puff?? I love this uni-suite, especially the ease of getting in and out of it.... except I don't get out of it. On fall / winter fishing / camping trips, I live in this thing 24/7 -- it's that functional and comfy. And it works great under a puffy jacket and puffy pants. Suggestion to Patagonia: make a one-piece uni out of the puffy jacket/pants material, sleeveless (to allow for optimum mobility), with a waist zip in back that aligns with the capilene's uni's zipper.... now, we're talk'n!!! I wouldn't have to wear my puffy pants backwards!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only base layer I need I ditched all my old tight base layers for this suit, and I am both warmer and lighter--a winning combination. My only regret is not making the purchase sooner! Usually I am a S in Patagonia apparel, but I got this in M and am happy with the loose fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy like jam-jams The biggest problem with this piece of clothing is motivating myself to take it off. I wear it every day Alpine skiing. I love the thumb loops so there's no gap with my gloves. The hood is absolutely perfect under my Patagonia balaclava. It's back waist zippers make it super easy to use the zip-drop bottom. It fits like a glove with plenty of stretch and length in all the right places. It keeps me just the right amount of warm. I really hate to take it off at the end of the ski day.
