Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Women's Cloud Stack Hoody is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hoody I wear a medium in most Patagonia tops/jackets but they're always a little big, the medium Cloud Stack hoody is perfect. Not so big that it looks sloppy (it is a trim, neat fit) but roomy enough that I can get a long sleeve shirt underneath and be very comfortable, not feel like a sausage. The hoody is warm and cozy with long sleeves, though I don't see the purpose of the thumb holes, I actually roll the cuff up once because the cuffs themselves are so long. I am so happy with this hoody and am lucky to work somewhere that I can wear it pretty much every day...because I do...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The go to sweatshirt This is my favourite sweatshirt. I love the slim cut, which is just right (there's still room if you grab a big meal), and the thumb holes are great when I need a little extra warmth on a hike or just around town. The wide bottom hem is flattering, and this deep pockets keep your keys or small wallet secure. The fabric is soft and substantial - so it's cozy, without being too heavy. For the next round of cloud stacks, I hope too see a wider range of colours (this year, I find all the colours too similar, and a bit on the dull size). Thanks Patagonia!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice quality I was hesitant to spend so much money on a hoody, but my go-to grey zip-up hoody that I've been wearing for years is starting to fall apart and I panicked. :) This hoody went above my expectations. It's comfy, soft, roomy but not baggy. I love the deep pockets. It's great and now I'm wearing it all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! My new Favorite piece of clothing! LOVE, Love, love this hoodie! It is so SOFT and comfortable, I want to live in it! Very thick, warm and cozy, and very stylish for a hoodie! Highly recommend this!! I always wear a size Medium but I got this in size Large so I would have a bit of extra room to move around, which is perfect for just hanging around. When I ordered this again in another color, I will order size Medium so it will be a bit more fitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable sweatshirt ever I've been eyeing this hoody for a while and could not resist the sale price. It is the softest, most comfortable all purpose sweatshirt ever. It really is worth every penny of the cost. I wish I hadn't listened to the other reviews that said it ran small. I'm 5'7" 160, and ordered a Large, but it's a bit too baggy for me and I don't think it will shrink in the wash. I think I would have liked the look and the sleeve length of a Medium better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I didn't want to like this hoodie bc I do think it's a bit pricey but it is a good fit (5'7", 137 lbs and I ordered a medium) with nice long arms, it is well made (same as all Patagonia apparel imo), and it is surprisingly very warm and soft. I have been wearing it like a jacket throughout this mild CO winter - dog walking, over my gym clothes, around the house, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it - with one exception I really do love this hoody, and I've received many complements. BUT - one of the cords broke off during only the 2nd time I ever washed it! And it broke from halfway up inside the drawstring hole, so there's no way I can repair it. What kind of poor quality is that, Patagonia?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great zip up hoody! Started wearing this zip up now that the Fall weather is coming. Very comfortable, great fit! It has big enough pockets to put keep hands warm, as well as store cell phone, wallet, etc.
