Fair Trade Certified™

We pay a premium for every Fair Trade Certified item that carries our label. That extra money goes directly to the workers at the factory, and they decide how to spend it. The program also promotes worker health and safety and social and environmental compliance, and encourages dialog between workers and management. Fair Trade is one of the first tools we’re using at Patagonia to raise workers’ wages, improve their standard of living and move them closer to earning a living wage.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Women's Corduroy Pants - Long is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfortable! I love these cords - they fit really well, are soft and comfortable, and I love the colors. I have both Bear Brown and Oxblood now because they fit so perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Tall sizes! great length. comfy fit. I thought they were maybe a little tight in the the thigh at first, but after wearing them a day, they felt great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A total staple Since minute one, a total staple in wardrobe. My only problem with these pants is when I have to wash them as then they are not available for my immediate fancy! I found I needed to size down one size from what I thought I needed/my general go-to Patagonia pants size, as they stretch a LOT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Pants I love these pants. I am an average size 10, size 30 in these are perfect - they where a tad tight when I first put them on, but they literally shape to your body after one wear. I am 5.10 and like the extra length in the 34inch inside leg - the low rise does not bother me at all. My only gripe would be the color choices in the longer pant, would love to see blue and green as an option - brown and oxblood are a little boring!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Live the Long Inseam I'm 5'11". I try to be environmentally responsible when I buy clothes, which is one of the many reasons I love Patagonia, but my height often makes buying pants awkward. For years I was stuck ordering them from teen clothing magazines because for whatever reason they were the only ones who consistently offered extended inseams. I cannot stress enough how happy I am that Patagonia is offering long options on many of their pants now. I know a few reviewers don't like the low-rise aspect of these cords, but I actually love it. Low-rise works best for my body type, so I am really hoping Patagonia doesn't change that. They aren't so low that I fear that they will slip too far--they just sit perfectly on my hips. For me, these pants are absolutely fantastic. They are comfortable, sufficiently long, very good quality, and just fit so well. My only suggestion is to make the sizing a bit easier. On the website, the waist is listed in inches (I think?), but if you don't know your size, viewing the size chart doesn't help at all. Also, be aware that you may find that these run slightly small. I am usually the equivalent of an 8 or 10, but I ended up buying these in a 12. Patagonia, please, please, please continue making long options for pants!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from almost, but not quite 34 long, size 31, straight cut, good fitting, nice material, good color, nice long pants. Rise is 1 inch too low. And the 31 inch pants are size 12 instead of size 10. Size charts should indicate size/waist correlations that are actual. I am still keeping the pants. It is hard to find a good fit for someone who is 72" tall and not curvy in the bum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO EXCITED!! So excited that Patagonia FINALLY released these amazing cords in a long length. The fit is perfect, the weight of the fabric is perfect, the amount of stretch is perfect. I'm 5'11 with a pretty long inseam and the pants hit just right. Really hoping these stay in the line-up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Longer inseams are great, but low rise is limiting Love the material and the length. I'm just over the low rise pants, as they are limited to wearing for errands around town and casually hanging out. Without a longer shirt hem, I end up exposing too much backside for casual wear, and they definitely don't give me enough coverage for hiking, skiing, etc. Please, Patagonia, please make clothes that fit us muscular tall girls.
