Rated 5 out of 5 by AdventureJen from Great for hiking! I love these pants! I've been wearing them on all my hikes. Very lightweight for hot weather, I found them breathable in 100 degree temps. I wore them on Mt Whitney a week ago and they were great up to 11k ft (then I put on warmer pants). I got caught in a rain storm and they dried quickly. Also, this might be TMI, but you have to drink a lot of water at high altitude. This caused me to go to the bathroom literally 20 times on way up. These pants are very easy to pull down quickly to go to the bathroom before anyone catches you. I wore these tight Arcteryx pants on another hike and going to the bathroom was a pain every time. Every second counts! Some people are saying they are too tight at the bottom, but I have small calves, so I am very happy with the tighter cuffs. I don't find them restricting at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cgcutie from Most comfortable figure flattering pants Bought these a month ago because my roommate talked about loving her Patagonia capri pants so much. I LOVE them. The side pockets are a very convenient feature that my phone fits in. The material is extremely soft and flexible. And while I don't generally wear yoga pants every day all day, and especially not while out running errands...I could and do wear these pants wherever.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MountainLady30 from Ok... I just received these as a gift. They are about 5-6" shorter than in the photo online. They hit right below my knee in front and right at the crease of my knee in back. Strange length. I'm 5'9", so tall but not unusually tall, and have not had this issue with other patagonia bottoms being shorter than pictured. They're cute and I like the trim, but I wish mine were as long as the model's. Also, the fabric is so thin that even though the pants fit me and I have the right size, they do that thing where your underwear shows through if you squat down. Because of this I'm not sure they'll hold up. Considering returning or exchanging them, but since they were a gift may just keep them and avoid the hassle. If I'd bought them myself I would definitely return or exchange them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KRev from Great cool weather tight I love the fabric and the fit of these new leggings! They are supple and stretchy, and the waist line hits just right. The only thing amiss is the hem at the leg openings- no stretch and on the tight side. If this were fixed, I would buy another pair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by _magneticnorth_ from Nice pockets, strange cuffs and fabric patterns First, these capris are not black they are heathered charcoal grey. Second, there is a contrast trim and partial lining in a graphic black and white that did not appeal to me. The pockets below hips, the secure drawstring, the thin wicking fabric, the fit (for the most part) are all plusses. The biggest downside? Really tight, inflexible seams at the bottom cuff over the calves. Strange fit choice. I'm confident Patagonia will iron out these small flaws to an otherwise functional product in future seasons - and hopefully add colors, too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ignoretrump from Binding cuffs Great fabric and fit, but those leg openings! Tight, non-elastic and binding. I will probably snip them at one side. A definite step down from the Velocity run capris (no mesh in this iteration). Would recommend with reservations.
