Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Women's Dual Point Alpine Pants is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tough wearing pants but two weird issues. I am a skijorer... skiing with dogs. So, I wanted something that could stand up to dog paws. These are pretty tough and I like the zippered pockets. There are two negatives. The button at the top of the zipper is crazy. It is a button with a loop through it that you pull to tighten. It does not tighten even for one second so you have a floppy button at the top of the zipper; weird. It is an easy fix to cut off the loop and sew the button on like normal. The suspenders come off all the time. The attachment to the pants is a slot which easily slides off. A buckle would be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! I bought these pants about two months ago to snow shoe or backcountry ski in. They fit great and are really warm! We live in the mountains and I actually wear them quite a bit just during the day, going on little hikes with our dogs, running errands etc. and they've been great this winter! I'm 5 7 and the length is perfect so they don't drag but aren't too short. I'm about 125 lbs and am usually a 4/27, but I got the size 6 and I can fit a pair of long underwear under them when it's really cold. they do stretch out a decent amount in the waist, but I've noticed they go back to normal after washing. I saw some other reviews talking about the suspenders falling off. I don't wear the suspenders a ton, but the few times i have worn them, they sometimes fall off. But honestly, if you just tighten them a bit they stay on fine. Overall I think these pants are great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pants! Bought these to wear snowshoeing and to play in the snow with the kids. They are nice weight, lots of stretch, and warm in top of a baselayer. Not crazy about the suspenders but they come off easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome pants, but...... I use these primarily for ice climbing and I have to say, they are GREAT. Just the right weight and so comfy, and the pockets are perfect--my iPhone 6 fits in a handy spot so I can snap away at the top or while giving a belay to my second. Now the downsides: 1) They are SO long. I have short legs and I had to alter them (best done by cutting fabric away below the knee and above the top of the ankle zipper, due to all the jazz going on at the cuff). 2) I tried them for backcountry skiing, but they are two narrow at the ankle to zip all the way closed over by AT boots. Wahhhh! Otherwise, super pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I expected more. I bought these about a month ago and the material is great, your hardy soft shell pants. My problem with them is that I'm 6'0" and I have a 34" inseam, and the pants are just long enough. But if you want to use the built in gator it is too high to work for a mid hiker. The only boots I have tall enough to use it with are my mountaineering boots but I'm already wearing gators so it's pointless. The other reason I gave these pants only 3 stars is because there is a little tab that holds the button in place and EVERY TIME I put the pants on the price of material slides out of place and I have to fish it back before I can button them. Overall I like them but they are more frustrating then they were worth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Alpine pants ever! I have several different Alpine Pants from different makers.....the Dual Point is the best fit I have ever worn!!! The waist line is high enough, so I don't have to worry about sagging down during activities. They do not stretch out after many days wearing, like others that I can only use 1 day then so big I have to wash and dry before wearing again. I can also go from trail to dinner out without changing pants. The cut and look is very flattering! Love the Dual Point Alpine Pants!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these pants...except for the suspenders... I love these pants - they're fantastic for touring in the backcountry, nordic skiing on a cold day, and winter hiking as well. The problem I have is that the suspenders wont stay on. The buckles slide out and eventually detach leaving just the suspenders in my jacket not attached to anything. The adjustable button in the front slips as well, so it leaves me pulling them up quite often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great new pant! I am really looking forward to trying out these pants for ice climbing. The fit is great, the length is perfect, I am around a 32, 33 inseam. The material seems like the right amount of thickness and stretch. And the grey color is really nice. My boyfriend wants them now in the men's version.
