Wrinkle Resistant

TENCEL® is a branded lyocell fiber that comes from the pulp of trees that are grown on sustainably run farms certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The eucalyptus wood pulp is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent. The solution is extruded through fine holes to produce fiber and the solvent is recycled in a closed-loop process – more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused. We ensure that the fabric processing of TENCEL® lyocell fiber does not utilize any harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde).

TENCEL lyocell is a high-tenacity cellulosic fiber, which gives high strength properties to the fabric which can then be used in place of other regenerated cellulose fibers such as viscose rayon.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't hold up well I got this dress cause my friend had gotten it and I loved it. I took it on a trip to Jamaica and after wearing it a few times the stitching started to come out. The front seam was also sewn a little wonky. Planning on taking it back and either getting my money back or trading it in. So sad cause it's so cute and made of nice material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For me this fits great! I am just shy of 5'9" and 140. I definitely had to get a small in this and I love it. The dress is meant to fit loosely and flare out a bit. It looks a bit boho which I like. I think the thing that makes this work for me is I have small bust. Someone with a larger cup size, the fabric would tent out in the front and I could see how it would look maternity or shapeless. Otherwise I love the cut and I think the back is really different and flattering. Also, I crammed it in my carry on and there were no wrinkles when I took it out 3 days later. Perfect travel dress for a beach trip!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish I Had Read the Reviews Bought it without reading the reviews because it looks so cute in the photos! And I love the print (Howling Turquoise) and the back detail. But ... it really does fit like a tent. Completely shapeless, and makes me look completely shapeless. It looks like pajamas or a swimsuit coverup. Can't wear a belt with it because of the back detail. I also don't like the way it rides up in the back. If I wear it where I like it in the front (so the neckline is at a comfortable place), the front hemline is noticeably longer than the back. If I pull it down in the back so the front hemline and back hemline are even, the neckline is really high. Just a really poor fit all around, unfortunately. Don't love the shelf bra but don't hate it; same with the length. It's a bit shorter than I'm used to for Patagonia dresses but not so short that I'm bothered by it. I'm 5'9", 36B, 140 pounds. I can't imagine a physique this dress would flatter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from if you like wearing a tent its basically a tent with straps. Its short and very wide. I am 5'10" and weigh 145. the fabric was fine maybe a bit thin but that seems to be the direction that clothing companies are going. Thin and/or synthetic. I have so many fantastic medium weight cotton and fitted dressed that are more than 8 years old that are still like new and comfortable. If my house caught fire I would run back in to save them. I would love to see some fitted heavier weight cotton dresses that just drop over your head and I am out the door. Mid thigh length. This dress disorganized ties that take time to adjust and is waaaaay too full from the chest down and too skimpy on the sides. It looks great in the picture. The print is nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super cute, a little short I'm really liking this dress. I'm 5'11", 145ish and the Medium is great. True, it's a little wide, but I love dresses like that. None of that clingy business! It's short on me, but I expect no less for my height. I love the pattern on the gray one. The built in bra is great. I relaxed the tie a bit so the fit is a little longer, and though it reveals a little sideboob, whatev. Can't wait to wear this when island hopping, in-between swimming/surfing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing The black color is more of a mottled gray-black and even in the size small, it fit like a sack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute Summer Dress When I first put this dress on I thought it was a little too wide. Then I got the idea to put a belt around the waist and ended up liking it a lot more. I do wish it was a couple inches shorter, but overall it's a cute summer dress. Absolutely love the back! I don't normally like built in bras, but the one for the dress fit nicely. Like for most Patagonia shirts I ordered and XS, but in most brands I'm a small. (5'6 and 125lbs)
