Run, ride, rock—just don’t go without our up-for-anything Houdini® Jacket. It encourages improvisation with its weather-resistant 100% nylon ripstop fabric that blocks wind and withstands abrasion on multi-hour adventures. The slim fit accommodates a baselayer or a light midlayer; the improved hood cinches with a single pull and won’t pinch your ears; cording, toggles and cuffs are all trim and lightweight. Half-elastic cuffs seal the wrists, and a drawcord cinches the hem. It packs snugly into its own small, vertically zippered chest pocket, which has a reinforced clip-in loop for attaching to your hydration-pack straps. A DWR (durable water repellent) finish coats the shell and the center-front zipper. With a reflective logo on the left chest and center-back neck.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely running jacket Bought this in February for running outdoors in springtime weather. It's an extremely lightweight jacket, good windbreaker, and works well in drizzle. I have liked it since the first time I put it on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The fit is perfect! I bought this about a month ago and I'm extremely happy with the fit and performance of the jacket. I've used it on two bike camping trips in Northern California. It kept me warm in windy conditions with just a t-shirt on underneath. I am 5 feet 4 inches and about 130 lbs with an athletic build. I bought an extra small because I wanted a sleek fit that also allowed me to move and wear light layers underneath. The size small was nice too, but gave a little extra room that I did not want or need. I'd recommend this jacket to anyone who likes to get outside and wants a light, comfortable layer that will protect from wind, rain, cool temperatures and also provides sun protection! Great Jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Jacket Being a slim 6ft female it's sometimes tough to find clothing that fits. This jacket is an exception! The sleeves are long enough without getting in the way and the swoop in the back makes it the perfect fit. I wish the hood would roll into itself, but overall the product is wonderful! Great fit and amazing storage since it folds into itself! Highly recommended.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not breathable I've only used the jacket once - on a hike with full backpack on a on/off rain day. It shed the raindrops but since it is not a breathable fabric I got heated up on the inside. Its great as a windbreaker and for use/wear when not exerting a lot of energy that builds up body heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute and convenient! Love how cute this jacket it is and better yet I can fold it up in a little ball and take it everywhere with me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simply light and easy to bring I have found this to be my 'stylish' piece of pocket protection. The hood makes it cute, and just in case I need a hood for extra warmth is nice. It is plenty packable, but I have a smaller one for a jersey pocket..I have the small, and it is just roomy enough to go over more clothing. I am usually a xs/sm in most things Patagonia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for rain showers Finally bit the bullet and got myself a Houdini, especially for backpacking and hiking in the summer when there could be sudden rain showers up in the mountains. Wore it today while it was raining and it kept me dry 100%. Will this keep you dry in a downpour? I don't expect it to, and I don't think this is designed to do that either. It's a great piece just in case bad weather rolls around, but it will not replace your waterproof rain jacket for stormy days. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, it packs down sooo small, is super lightweight, and blocks out wind and rain effectively. It also keeps me relatively warm with just a t-shirt underneath it during blustery days while hiking. I am 5'4", pear shaped and a Small fits me perfectly with enough room to wear a down jacket underneath. I normally get all my Patagonia jackets in an X-small, but I wanted the option to wear layers if I needed to. Get it if you've been eyeing it, it's definitely worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed This lightweight windbreaker is just what I was looking for. It packs neatly in my cycle shirt while I ride up the hills. On the downhills, it provides protection from the windchill and is just the right fit, not too small, not too large. I love this jacket! It did take a chat with the rep to figure out how to stuff it! Turn the pocket inside out and thumb push the jacket inside. The zipper pull works both ways! Simple as soon as I knew how. I also love that it gives some protection from the rain without creating a rainforest effect inside the jacket.
