At minus 10 and facing a stiff north wind, riding Jackson can feel like an act of defiance. Keep the movement alive with the cold-weather warmth of these versatile bottoms. Our Insulated Powder Bowl Pants keep your inner thermostat on high with strategically placed, body-mapped 60-g Thermogreen® recycled insulation that dries quickly, traps heat (even when wet) and keeps you ripping on hard-freeze days. A durable, 2-layer, 100% polyester GORE-TEX® fabric provides waterproof/breathable and windproof protection, yet feels light and limber for unmatched freeride performance. The DWR (durable water repellent) finish keeps water and snow from saturating the fabric. For mobility and natural motion, Powder Bowls have articulated knees, a polyester-taffeta lining throughout the legs and a forward-momentum shape. The waist has a combination of a smooth taffeta lining to wick moisture, grown-on belt loops, a zip fly and adjustable tabs to fine-tune the fit. Other details include low-bulk slim zips , mesh-lined thigh vents to off-load heat, an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector and built-in gaiters with gripper elastic and tough scuff guards. Zippered pockets: two handwarmers, one back and one right thigh. With an articulated, feminine silhouette. Inseam length is 32".

The construction of 2-Layer GORE-TEX® Products is unique. A GORE-TEX® membrane is bonded to an outer material, then combined with a free-flowing lining. The benefit: a soft, lightweight garment that keeps you dry and lets you move freely.

The GORE-TEX® membrane has 9 billion pores per square inch, with each pore 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet. These tiny holes are too small for water and wind to pass through from the outside. But these same pores are large enough for moisture vapor to pass through, so your body's perspiration is able to escape and you won’t feel clammy or uncomfortable inside your jacket.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insulated Powder Bowl Pants are AMAZING! Bought these because I needed ballistic warm waterproof pants. These pants have exceeded my expectations. Negative digits with winds gusting to 35 mph and these pants kept me warm; the next week snow turned to rain and these pants kept me dry; this week started out alpine skiing in cold weather and then switched to backcountry skiing and these pants were outstanding. Warm when needed, and kept me dry in rain and heavy exertion with no moisture build up on the lining. Fit is so comfortable and I love the thigh pocket. Wish the thigh pocket was on both sides. Ordered a second pair in another color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute design. Too big at the waist Cute design. Good quality. Too big at the waist. When I called to confirm they have one size smaller they are sold out. Really bummed. Still need to return it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Ski Pants!! I bought the Insulated Powder Bowl Pants (Epic Blue) in February and wore them every day for three months in the Eastern Sierras in all types of weather from 25F to 55F, and they were fantastic! Kept me warm and dry in the colder weather and cool enough in the warmer weather using the side vents. I'm 5'5" and weigh around 120lbs and the XS fit perfectly. The fit is slim and the hem reaches to my ankle when wearing ski boots and there's enough room for layering and freedom of movement. I usually wear a size small however was advised to size down. The only down side is that the pants get a bit more dirty because of the lighter color. All in all it's a great pant and I'm really pleased with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and waterproof Been skiing in these pants for the last week. They keep me warm and dry. Great pockets and air vents. Today it rained at the base and there was super wet snow up top. Skied a couple hours in super wet conditions including sitting on rain covered chairlifts and came home perfectly dry. They run just a smidge tight so I sized up. I might have too much room but I hate tight clothes when I ski.
