Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Women's Loislee Crew is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic cut with great material. I bought this for the cool nights in the PNW and I'm so stoked that I did. Usually I wear a size small, but I chose this in a medium so that I could wear it a bit oversized and relaxed. It's lightweight and breathable, while also providing warmth and great coverage. This sweater will see lots of evening walks, bonfires on the beach and campfires this spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A terrific classic! This sweater is an instant classic. Perfect subtle details like neutral colors, slightly wider neck than the one you had as a kid, comfortable material. Great for work and real life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rough & Retro The coarse fibers of this knit make it feel a bit rough and scratchy - you definitely want to wear a base layer. The sizing is generous, maybe smart to size down for a neat fit. Is a good sweatshirt option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm wearing it right now! This is the perfect hybrid. Not a sweater and not a sweatshirt, but the best of both. It looks neat and tidy, but feels like the weekend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cozy This sweater dose run big but it's nice slouchy and cozy for days when you don't want things clinging to your body and its super cute but.... I gave 2 stars because it pills up really bad especially on the dark brown part where it is very visible and attracts animal hairs like no other. So after I wash it have to spend hours picking off pilled up fuzz balls and animals hairs that get imbedded in the sweater fabric.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfy but big Great sweater, super soft and comfy but runs very big. Wish I had seen more reviews beforeI went with the medium. I wore it like an idiot knowing it was too big but it was a cold, rainy day when it arrived. I'm 5'3 140 and the medium feels very big & slouchy. Wish I'd gotten the small since this one will be used as pajamas or around the house lounge wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfy! This is a great sweater. It's really comfortable and casual, yet I can still wear it to work. I'm 5'7", 130, and ordered a M, which is slightly loose fitting but a S would probably be too tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable soft sweater! This sweater is just what I wanted. It is soft to the touch, midweight (I get too hot in wool), and has a nice scoop neckline that isn't too wide. The fit is a bit big- I vary between M and L in Patagonia tops and I ordered a M... and it is a little big in a sort of stylish slouchy way. If you are on the fence between two sizes, order lower. I got the red and grey and the red color is pretty vibrant, which I like. Overall, a great purchase!
