Inspired by the women of Gee’s Bend, Alabama, who have been making miraculous and bold quilts since the 1800s from scraps of fabric, including their husbands well-worn dungarees, we made this lightweight wrap from a combination of recycled cotton denim and 100% recycled polyester. Layer the buttonless cardigan over dresses and tanks for lightweight warmth. The wrap is slightly longer in front and lightly cinched in the rear waist for a feminine shape. Falls below the hip.
  • The EcoJean yarn is made out of regenerated fibers from recycled finished cotton and polyester products
  • Open cardigan style with no closure
  • Longer in the front and slightly shorter in the rear
  • Slightly cinched waist in the rear for a feminine shape
  • Falls below the hip
  • 377 g (13.3 oz)

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Women's Loislee Wrap is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the style and feel of material. I have taken the tags off but have not worn it as I feel it is too large. I know this s my fault since I ordered Medium and should have ordered Small. Is thee any way you can help me out?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fabric pills Love the feel of fabric and the fit but in a short time, it has pilled up and looks kind of sloppy and old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then I thought No pilling. A nice fit. 5'2" and small generous, covers bottom. I always order small in Patagonia. Iwas desperate for a cardigan that was light so I tried it and love it. One button would be great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very cute, but lots of pilling I was excited about this sweater because of the style and recycled materials, but after a few days of wear the front and sleeves were covered in pills. Although I was able to sort of brush them away with my pill brush, they reappeared after a few minutes. I am surprised no one else commented on this, and I wonder if it is just my sweater? The back, shoulders, and rest of the sweater, including the inside all look pretty pill-free. Anyway, the cut is really appealing in its simplicity, collarless with just the gathered waist in the back. It would be nice to have the option of using a belt closure for warmth or when you want to be a little more covered up, and, while I'm at it, I would add that pockets would be a nice addition too, but in terms of cut and color (the dark grey) it is pretty great. It is not super slim-fitting, but I do find it true to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cardigan It's warm and gives an effortless but put-together look. Note that the picture is deceiving; I'm slightly tall at 5'7'', and the front of this falls almost to my knees, not by the hip like the model shows. Also note it's GINORMOUS. I am very slim but have broad shoulders and wear Patagonia's size small with its long-sleeved clothing. However, the small is so huge on me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super warm Although not the most flattering sweater, it's so warm and perfect for the cold office. Wish it would have come with a matching belt/string to tie around the waist to help keep it shut and make it a more feminine shape. Although not as soft as I would have liked, it's doing just fine on my super sensitive skin. The grey is more of a charcoal color. Recommend as a warm layer that is business casual appropriate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from strange shape, not flattering I'm sad to say I have to return this sweater. I ordered the gray, which is really more of a black. The back hem is shorter than the front and the cinched material, designed to create a feminine shape, bunches up and sticks out in the back making a really unflattering profile. At 5'5, 128#, 34b, the fit seemed about right, just a funny shape overall.
