Whether you’re topping out on the Fang or running dawn patrol on Dragon’s Tail Couloir, staying warm without overheating is critical. The Nano-Air® Light Hybrid Vest traps heat at your core where you need it most but lets off steam to keep you dry and comfortable. The front of the vest warms and protects with warm-when-wet FullRange® insulation (40-g) sandwiched between a plain-weave liner and a lightweight yet durable, weather-shedding 100% nylon ripstop shell with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The back of the vest features a super stretchy, airy waffle knit that swiftly wicks moisture and dissipates heat. The center-front zipper has a zipper garage for comfort on the chin, and zippered handwarmer pockets rest easily under a harness or pack. Stretch binding at the armholes and hem seal in warmth.
  • Light yet durable 100% nylon ripstop shell and plain-weave liner offer generous mechanical stretch and exceptional breathability, with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish
  • Revolutionary 40-g FullRange® insulation warms and stretches; combined with the shell and liner, this creates a vest with excellent mechanical stretch and unprecedented air permeability (40-CFM on front; 130-CFM knit on back)
  • Airy, wicking waffle knit on the side and back panels manages excess heat and moisture
  • Minimal, center-front zipper with low-profile zipper garage
  • Two handwarmer pockets are zippered, welted and low-bulk to wear comfortably with a harness or pack
  • Stretch binding at armholes and hem to seal in warmth
  • Shell: 1.3-oz 20-denier 100% nylon ripstop. Lining: 2-oz 50-denier 100% nylon plain weave. Both shell and lining with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Women's Nano-Air® Light Hybrid Vest is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, but warm enough I have been living in this vest when I do anything active. For the inbetween days, it's perfect. I usually wear a sm in patty stuff, but sized down knowing this was a layer piece. Can't fits great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best new Patagonia gear I have been a longtime Patagoniac: my first piece was bought in 1988--the fabled shelled synchilla jacket which I still have! Over time, I have owned and used many pieces. In the last few years, I have not been that thrilled with some of the products: either the quality of the fabric itself; the styling--something always was not quite the patagonia of old--until I bought this piece: the Nano Air Hybrid vest. It is the best thought out Patagoniac --and truly is all it claims to be. It breathes exceptionally well; I could wear it in 20 degree weather with high winds layered over two light weight merino long sleeve, and wear it in 40 degree layered over a single piece--and it all worked marellously well. I wore it for a long hike up a mountain with a backpack, and for the first time did not have everything cling to my back! It reminds me of the old designs: nothing unnecessary; all things are functional; and it does what it is meant to do: Nothing more or nothing less. I hope to see the Nano Air light in a jacket --I know there is a Hybrid jacket, but I would really like to see a version of the Nano Air light hoody in a jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Blend of Lightweight, Warmth and Comfort! This vest has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of clothing. I bought it in Black, size XS and it's a perfect blend of warmth, comfort and style. Normally I wear a small in Patagonia (I'm 5'4" and 129 lbs), but this vest runs large so I sized down to the XS and it fits well. The back of the vest is made of a waffle-type fabric and it really adjusts to your body. I've worn it on morning workouts this winter (I live in San Diego, so morning temps are in low 50s) and to work over a long sleeve shirt. Absolutely love it!
