Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New #1 I love dresses, particularly shirt dresses, so when I saw this in denim I had to buy it. It has become my new #1. I wear it for casual business meetings as well as nights out. I am a size 6 with an athletic build, and the size 6 dress fit perfect. It falls just above the knee on me and I am 5'5. There is lots of room to move and function, but the dress still makes you look petite and put together. What I love most about this dress is that I can wear it in summer AND winter, by adding tights and boots when the snow flies. Patagonia, please make this dress in other solid colours, as solids are easier in a work setting than plaid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh the wonders of Supreme-ness I just recently purchased this dress in DC at the store there, and so I was able to try it on, and the moment I put it on.....it was love!! It reminds me of the dresses my grandmother wore back in the 70's!! Massively comfortable and very becoming too. I can milk my beautiful cow, Tallulah in it and then change shoes and go out on the town as well. Very functional dress in all different aspects of life. I wear a size 4 with Patagonia and in this dress the size 2 fit me better, and I have worn Patagonia for a good 17-18 years so I do understand that some of their items of clothing can run too big.....but no big deal!! :) Beautifully comfortable, flattering, even for us flat chested, athletic.. crazy gals :)
