Built to buffer the start-stop cycle of alpine climbing in the blowing, blasting, cold and wet, our new Stretch Nano Storm® Jacket blends insulation, breathability and weatherproofness. We paired a light, supple and stretchy 2-layer waterproof/breathable H2No® Performance Standard shell with the revolutionary 60-g FullRange™ insulation of our Nano-Air® and added a highly breathable liner. Together the package is soft and warm, allowing excess heat to move away from the body and keeping the elements out. Each fabric has stretch, complementing the articulated pattern and seamless shoulder design for enhanced ease of movement. Other details include a helmet-compatible, 2-way-adjustable hood, self-fabric hook-and-loop cuff closures and embedded cordlocks at the hem to seal out the elements. The 2-way pit zips and the double chest pockets all use waterproof, PU-coated zippers. Pockets: Two waterproof, PU-coated chest pockets; two welted, high handwarmer pockets with DWR (durable water repellent)-treated zippers and two internal catch-all pockets.

Water Resistant

DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Weatherproof

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable.

Designed for a wide range of uses, from backpacking to snowboarding, 2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics utilize a taffeta or mesh lining rather than a bonded scrim to protect the waterproof/breathable barrier. The lining increases the garments wicking ability, durability and next-to-skin comfort.

2-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are coated with DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish that repels light rain and snow. In conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

All products bearing the H2No mark have been vigorously tested for durability in our Killer Wash.

Women's Stretch Nano Storm Jacket is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof + just the right amount of warmth! After eyeing this jacket since it came out, I finally made the decision to go for it and I'm so happy I did! When multiple layers are cumbersome or when it's both cold and wet, the Stretch Nano Storm is perfect. From shoveling snow or digging out cars when it's dumping to skiing on a powder day, the jacket is surprisingly bomber waterproof and not overwhelmingly warm - thanks to the pit zips! The four exterior pockets and interior stash pockets have all come in handy. The best part is that the jacket fits and feels like your comfiest hoody - not stiff or crunchy but soft and stretchy. I'm typically a small (and even an extra small at times) in Patagonia tops/jackets, but I bought this jacket in a medium for more coverage and to accommodate for lots of layers underneath. The small was a perfect fit but a little too tight for an outerlayer. I'm 5'5", 130lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect all-winter-weather jacket! I wish I'd owned this jacket 10 years ago - it would have saved me several unsatisfied purchases! I bought this jacket in November and granted it's only December, but it's kept me warm and dry on those yucky raw 35 degree rainy New England days, and 10 degree early winter blasts. It's lightweight, stretchy, and so comfortable. It's crazy how warm it is considering how lightweight it is! I originally was searching for a new ski coat, but found my new every-day-all-winter coat. I can't wait to take it skiing! I'm 5'9"/135 lbs and the medium fits me perfectly, and will also fit well with my Retro-X vest underneath for skiing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands-down best jacket This is my ride-or-die piece, the first thing I would grab during a zombie apocalypse. I have worn it during rain and snow storms in low temperatures in the PNW. The warmth is out of this world, and the big pit zips are a life saver and help dump excess heat. I wear it winter biking to work, and the pit zips really keep me from overheating. The softness and coziness of this jacket make it the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned. I love that it's not crunchy like most Goretex jackets. It has the comfort of a cozy soft blanket and the performance of a true alpine adventure jacket. It runs a little small in the torso because I think it's a slim fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diamond in the Rough!! This is probably the most comfortable jacket I have ever purchased. It is very soft, breathable, stretchy and super warm. I was surprised how much this jacket heated up when I put it on. You could feel the heat in the fabric but at the same time I was completely comfortable. I can't wait to wear this when it gets cold either around town, hiking or skiing. This jacket is going to replace most of my jackets since it's also waterproof. As for the fit. I'm normally a size xs in all patagonia jackets but I found the xs a little tight under the arms which made the pit zips uncomfortable so I went with a small which gave me a little room for layers but the jacket wasn't too baggy it actual fit and looked pretty good. The pit zips were comfortable in a small. The sleeves were a tiny bit long in the size small but still looked good and the jacket is a good length falling below my butt making this jacket even warmer. I feel like I'm wearing a comforter that can be worn in a blizzard. It's a hidden gem!!
