Leaves turn, temps fall, winds rise. On crisp autumn trails, our Wind Shield Hybrid Soft Shell Jacket lets the gusts stoke your fire. Its wind-blocking barrier does the heavy lifting, while unlaminated Capilene® Thermal Weight panels on the back and sides provide outlets for excess heat and moisture. Thumb holes and fold-over mitts keep wrists and fingers agile in 30-something temperatures as the stretchy soft-shell fabric resists moisture with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Reflective logos on the left chest and center back get you noticed; Polygiene® permanent odor control means you can wash it less and not be noticed. A zippered chest pocket carries nutrition or ID.

Water Resistant

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arms are way off Ordered the jacket, knew I'd love it, and threw away the receipt and packaging. Big mistake. When I put it on for the first time the fit was fine except for the arms. They are way too long, so long that I can't even cuff them to wear the jacket. It's too late for a return I think. I honestly don't know what I'll do with this jacket. It is my biggest (and only) Patagonia disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I bought this jacket 2 months ago and I love it! I'm 5'3" so the sleeves are a bit too long for me, but it worked out because if I get too cold I can just pull the sleeves over my hands for extra warmth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight surprise Bought this for a spring hiking jacket and also for a layer under heavier jacket next fall and winter. I'm so happy with this purchase! For now it's very light weight but warm. With mesh panel under arms and back I don't overheat. Arms are a tiny bit long but when my arms are stretched out the length is perfect. A favorite jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for cooler evenings My husband has this jacket and I liked it so well, I got myself one. It is perfect for cooler evenings and I like the feature of the airy back. 5'0 112 lbs and got it in small. I don't like tight fitting jackets so the SM is perfect for me in this style.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing special I purchased this jacket about a month ago. It arrived very quickly and I have been able to wear it a handful of time already. The sleeves are VERY long (about 4 inches longer than my arms) which makes using the thumbs holes difficult because the sleeves are all scrunched up at my wrists. The rest of the jacket fits quite nice. It is very light, but there is room to add a layer (s) underneath.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and windproof I'm wearing this jacket right now. I use it as a mid layer for biking and walking. And I'll be using it for winter workouts because it has wonderful stretch. It does not ride up on me but then I'm short and a little round. The chest pocket is really only good for a single key, so your stuff has to go elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great running jacket A Patagonia customer service member recommended product to me. I was looking for a coat to wear for max 40 degree weather as I run through the fall and winter in Wisconsin. So far it has been great! I wore it for my half marathon earlier today and it kept me nice and warm. I took it off and tied it around my waist once I was feeling good, and it felt very light - I barely noticed it. The breathable panels are really good at making sure you don't overheat. Highly recommend. I am 120 lb, 5'9", and I thought it was a nice fit that hit my waist/hips at a good point. I did not have issues with the jacket riding up like another reviewer did. Sleeves were long enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Cool Days I bought this for hiking and bike riding on cool, breezy days. It's extremely lightweight but has enough substance to it to keep me warm, while at the same time the ventilation on the sides and back prevents overheating. It's fitted but not tight, and doesn't ride up or catch the wind when I'm biking. I like it so much that I end up wearing it all the time, just as a general purpose jacket.
