Hometown
Tacoma, WA
Resides
Chamonix, France & Bellingham, WA
Liz’s passion for climbing big mountains then snowboarding down started with an ascent of Mount Rainier followed by a pledge never to walk down a mountain again. While living in Chamonix she combined the two sports to get into and out of grim situations. Her scariest descent was snowboarding Mount Baker’s icy Coleman Headwall, though that’s when she felt most alive. She dreams of exploring Siberia’s 800-mile long Kamchatka Range.
Career Highlights
  • First snowboard descent of the Coleman Headwall, Mt. Baker
  • First female snowboard descent of NFNWR, Mt. Adams
  • Receiving Emergency Medical Technician and Outdoor Emergency Care certifications
  • Instructor and guide for the American Alpine Institute

    Josh Dirksen

After graduating from high school in small town Oregon, Josh headed to the 'big' town of Bend, planning to shred Mt. Bachelor. His early days were spent washing dishes to pay for a season’s pass. Since then, his love for the sport has only grown, taking him from the deep snows of the Pacific Northwest to over thirty countries around the world.

    Ryland Bell

Raised in Alaska, it’s not surprising that Ryland is so drawn to big and gnarly terrain. From his early days building straw-bale kickers, his snowboarding has progressed to some of the world’s steepest and most technical big mountain lines. He splits his time between Haines and Squaw Valley, and spends summers following family tradition on a commercial salmon boat.

Forrest believes the turns you have to work for offer a more lasting reward and his splitboard adventures reflect that attitude. Brought up surfing in Southern California and now based in Utah, Forrest is at the forefront of self-powered backcountry freeriding. When he’s not shredding steep white walls for films like Deeper and Further, he works to raise climate change awareness in the snowboard community.
