Our inspiration for this down vest came from the leaf-gathering season, with its cool temperatures and milkweed-scattering breezes. Worn on its own or paired with a shell, it provides core warmth in a compressible and feminine design. High-loft, 600-fill-power premium European goose down feels soft and forgiving and takes the chill off a late-season hike. Wind and moisture protection comes from the 100% recycled polyester fabric with its Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish, an internal wind flap behind the front zipper and an adjustable drawcord hem. Some other things to note: asymmetric quilt lines keep the down from shifting and add aesthetic styling, the collar has a soft, brushed jersey fabric for comfort, and two zippered handwarmers include reflective webbing pulls for visibility. With a hand-me-down ID label.
