An everyday hooded jacket with an urban look. The Girls' Infurno Jacket is made of a sturdy 100% nylon faille shell with a PU-coating and DWR (durable water repellent) finish; insulated with thick half-inch polyester (78% recycled) high-pile fleece and lightweight 80-g Thermogreen® insulation in the sleeves.

When it comes to wearing a cold weather jacket day-in and day-out, she thinks she knows what she wants, but you know what she really needs. The Infurno offers détente by providing storm-level protection in a girl-friendly design. The wind- and water-resistant 100% nylon faille shell has a PU-coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that's lined with half-inch, high-pile fleece in the torso, and 80-g Thermogreen® insulation (90% recycled) in the sleeves for warmth and easy on/off. We kept the silhouette un-bulky by elasticizing the waist and extending the hem below the hips for better lower torso warmth and for a more sophisticated, in-town look. Her neck, ears and chin will stay cozy inside the 3-panel hood; her hands will stay warm in the drop-in/side entry pockets. Full-length front zipper has an internal anti-chafe chin guard and external snap closure storm flap. Reflective webbing pulls for visibility and a hand-me-down ID label helps you keeps track of the jacket.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.
