Our Traverse Pants are the most breathable, lightweight soft-shell pants we make for all-mountain training. Made of a fast-drying 4.7-oz 93% all-recycled polyester/7% spandex blend with a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

Endurance athletes are a durable species who thrive when the weather turns foul. Our Traverse Pants are equally durable. It's our lightest, most breathable soft-shell pant made of a fast-drying stretch-woven recycled polyester/spandex fabric with 4-way stretch for unrestricted movement, and a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish to keep wet weather out. The cling-free fit is roomy but not sloppy. They have straight legs that feature 4-panel construction with reinforced knees and a gusseted crotch for mobility. A zipper at each ankle creates a slim, tapered cuff when zipped shut, and a straight cuff when unzipped - thus accommodating both running shoes and Nordic boots. Other features include a double-stitched drawcord waistband with a brushed-elastic interior, two drop-in handwarmer pockets and a zippered back pocket. Reflective hem zippers keep you visible. Fabric is bluesign® approved.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Water Resistant

(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.
