It breathes and regulates body temperature when you're working hard, naturally resists odor, and offers a great warmth-to-weight ratio. We get our merino from non-mulesed Australian merino sheep, and slow wash it for softness and shrink-resistance without the use of chlorine. The fabric is an intimate blend of 78% merino, 19% polyester (100% recycled), and 3% spandex for stretch, durability, resilience and moisture-management. Finer points include a brushed-elastic waistband and offset seams for next-to-skin comfort. Machine-wash cold; machine-dry at low temperatures. Fabric is bluesign® approved.

Chlorine-free Wool
Raw, untreated wool has scales that make it itchy and coarse and cause it to shrink, so most wool fabrics are treated with chlorine to reduce the scales. But chlorine is a pervasive pollutant that’s especially harmful to organisms living in water and soil. We remove the scales from our merino wool fibers using a unique chlorine-free process that’s bluesign® approved.
