We’ll be giving away something each Monday, from November 16 to December 21, 2009, with a special drawing on November 27.

OFFICIAL RULES

BUYING WILL NOT HELP YOU WIN. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. Your chances of winning without making a purchase are the same as the chances of someone winning who purchases something.

1. ELIGIBILITY/ODDS OF WINNING
Patagonia, Inc. (“Patagonia”) is sponsoring Weekly Holiday Giveaways (the "Weekly Giveaways"), offered at each Patagonia Retail Store (the “Stores”), except Patagonia Hawaii, to participants who are at least 18 years old who complete an entry blank. Open to U.S. Residents only. The Weekly Giveaways will take place on the following days: November 16, 2009, November 23, 2009, November 27, 2009, November 30, 2009, December 7, 2009, December 14, 2009, and December 21, 2009 the “Giveaway Date(s)”). No purchase is necessary. Limit of one entry per person per week during the Weekly Giveaway period. Void where prohibited. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received each week at each Store location.

Employees and directors of Patagonia and its parent, affiliated or subsidiary companies, the immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees and directors are not eligible. By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Patagonia, which are final and binding in all respects. Retail Value of the Prizes depends on the retail value of the prize selected by each winner at each Store. The maximum retail value is $600 per drawing, per Store.

2. HOW TO ENTER/HOW PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED
To participate in a Weekly Giveaway, please complete an entry blank found at each of the Stores (except Hawaii) during the week preceding each Giveaway Date. Each entry blank will ask for your favorite Patagonia product in your local Store. This Weekly Giveaway is for Patagonia® products only, excluding Gift Cards. To participate you agree that your picture may be taken by a Patagonia employee and displayed, along with the reasons you like the products, at the Store for Weekly Giveaway promotional purposes. One prize winner from all entries received at each Store during the previous week will be selected by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager at close of business on November 16, 2009, November 23, 2009, November 27, 2009, November 30, 2009, December 7, 2009, December 14, 2009, and December 21, 2009 by random selection from all eligible entries submitted. The winner will receive their favorite, depending on availability. The entries for that drawing will no longer be valid and the Store will immediately begin collecting entries for the next drawing. The Winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within two (2) days. Winners have 5 days to respond to email or phone call. If Winner doesn’t respond within 5 days, the prize is forfeited and another Winner will be selected. Prizes are subject to stock on hand at time of drawing and substitutions of a prize of equal or greater value may be made at Patagonia’s discretion. You do not need to be present to win. No prize may be exchanged for cash or any other consideration.

3. PRIVACY
Entry information obtained from you will be used for the purpose of allowing your participation in the Weekly Giveaway, to email and/or call the winners, and to inform you of other Patagonia (and its affiliates) sweepstakes, promotions, or sales events, and for purposes of mailing catalogs or other promotional materials. You may have your name removed from this list by contacting Patagonia at the address at the end of these Official Rules. We will use reasonable commercial efforts to safeguard the personal information you provide.

4. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By entering this Giveaway, you agree that if you win the Weekly Giveaway, Patagonia and its licensees, affiliates and assigns, have the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, in any media, including but not limited to the worldwide web, at any time or times, your name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, biographical information and the reasons why you selected the particular Patagonia products as news or information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to disqualify any individual we find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Weekly Giveaway; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

These Official Rules are subject to modification by Patagonia.

8. WINNER LIST; OFFICIAL RULES
To receive a list of the Winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Prize Winners c/o Retail Marketing Department, Patagonia, Inc., 259 W. Santa Clara Street, Ventura, CA 93001. Mail-in requests for the name of the Winners must be received by Patagonia not later than January 7, 2010. Sponsored by: Patagonia, Inc., at the same address.
