Resource Extraction

Most mines in the U.S. are established and operated under the grossly outdated regulations of the 1872 Mining Law. The groups that follow are working to revise that law, stop the growth of resource extraction operations, clean up pollution created by industry, and develop new sources of energy to replace the environmentally damaging ones upon which we currently depend.
