Seam-sealed, lined and insulated, the Snow Patrol lets kids ski or board headlong into cold, nasty conditions. The 2-layer, 6-oz 50-denier 100% all-recycled polyester shell provides bomber wind-resistance; a waterproof/breathable H2No® barrier and a Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish add wet-weather protection. Insulated with 150-g Thermogreen™ insulation (90% recycled) to keep them cozy and warm, even when wet. Built-in "grow-fit" sleeves extend their length two inches, and rear loops on the waist attach to our Kids' Snow Bum pants for a unified snow-shedding ensemble. Other details: a snap-on/off hood; fleece-lined neck with chin flap; full-front zip with a snap-closing wind flap; zippered side pockets; a stash pocket on the left sleeve; one drop-in mesh pocket; partially elasticized cuffs with hook-and-loop tab closures; reinforced articulated elbows; an internal powder skirt; and a drawcord hem. Hand-me-down ID label inside.

Material

2-layer H2No^® shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. They utilize an internal mesh or a wicking, hanging fabric liner to protect the waterproof barrier making them very comfortable and warm, even against the skin. 2-layer shell fabrics are versatile alternatives when you don't need the lightest or most durable shell available.
