In torrential downpours and high-mountain blizzards, our new Stretch Ascent Pants provide bombproof storm protection. They stretch and breathe with the most limber of climbers. The performance comes from the lightweight, pliable 2.5-layer fabric package of stretch-woven polyester (100% recycled) laminated to a waterproof/breathable barrier. The full-length, water resistant, coated side-zips separate fully to allow for a drop-seat and easy on/off, while the gripper elastic cuffs have a secure snap closure and loops for an underfoot tie-down cord. Other details: snap waist with elasticized back, zip fly and a glued-on right thigh pocket. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Material
2.5-layer H2No® shell fabrics are waterproof, windproof, breathable and highly packable. They combine a water-repellent shell fabric with our H2No waterproof barrier and a raised pattern on the inside, instead of the full-coverage interior scrim used in 3-layer fabrics. The raised pattern makes 2.5-layer fabric packages lighter and more compressible while still protecting the waterproof barrier.
Technology
Recycled Polyester We recycle used soda bottles, unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.
