Canarsie Park is known for its recreation facilities, but it is also home to a surprising number of diverse wildlife spanning multiple acquatic ecosystems due to Canarsie’s close proximity to the seashore and its lesser known wetland hiking trails. NYC H2O and community volunteers will spend the morning cleaning trash from the park and from along the shoreline.
