Grab your binoculars and help us spot pinyon jays! These blue birds live in pinyon and juniper forests. The birds and the trees depend on each other: pinyon pines provide pinyon jays with food, and pinyon jays help pinyon pines spread their seeds. Both are threatened.

We need volunteers to gather info about pinyon jays and help protect pinyon and juniper forests.

This is an independent community science project. You do the training, then you choose where, when, and how you contribute.
