Join KS Wild and the Siskiyou Field Institute at the Rough and Ready Botanical Wayside for a walk through unique serpentine plant communities. We will explore the Rough and Ready trail and the parallel serpentine road to witness the botanical diversity and local waters threatened by nickel mining. This hike supports the campaign to protect the Illinois Valley from mining threats by highlighting the rare and endemic species that thrive in these serpentine soils.
