Community Habitat Restoration at the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve

Saturday, Jul. 27, 2019
at 9:30 am — 12 pm

Roll up your sleeves to help the Friends restore the last coastal wetland in Los Angeles. Get hands-on experience while learning about urban ecology. The time and effort you put in to clear out invasive vegetation gives our slow-growing native plants room to thrive. Healthy plant life is vital for a healthy ecosystem!

No RSVP needed for individuals. Groups of 8+ please call/email. Close-toed shoes required. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Meet us in the dirt lot behind Gordon’s Market.
