The U.S. Forest Service recently announced its proposal to eliminate all roadless area protections in Alaska’s Tongass National Forest. We will be hosting a Community Public Meeting to Support Roadless Forests and ensure the public’s voice is heard. We’re inviting folks to come and learn about this important issue and make an (optional) two minute statement about their feelings on the proposal. All comments and testimony will be recorded by a stenographer and submitted to the Forest Service.
