The Ballona Wetlands are one of the last remnants of the once plentiful wetlands along the coast of the greater Los Angeles area. The Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve serves as an important habitat for plants and wildlife including numerous birds that use this land as nesting grounds. Join us in restoring this key ecosystem by removing invasive and non-native vegetation to make room for native wetland plants to return!
